This is a scene right out of Dr. Zhivago when once the Revolution began, his home was “expropriated for the People” — You don’t need all that room. You don’t need all that stuff. Let us give it to those in “need.”

There is a similar situation in Ayn Rand’s [often overlooked because everyone thinks of “Atlas Shrugged”] first novel, “We The Living”.

In some ways it’s her most “accessible” book....
