The GOP has chosen. The destruction of the TEA Party is almost complete.
The Weekly Standard, National Review, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, & all the establishment Republicans have driven the TEA Party out of the picture.
Now we are told that taking Federal bailouts = capitalism & that anybody who disagrees should just shut up. Why did they TEA Party start in the first place?
Without ethics capitalism is doomed to corruption.
I expect every Romney voter would support Solyndra or GE... because "it's just capitalism"

First, I think there’s been great confusion...and way too much spin...given this unorthodox, and quite upside down, primary season.

Absolutely! And, just because one believes in free enterprise and the free market doesn’t absolve them of very lax morals.
I think that is the missing link here. Morals.
Many things are not illegal, but they are immoral.
When a company invests in another company, drives their earnings up so that they can borrow a whole boatload of money, then turn that borrowed money over to the investor in the form of dividends...and the investor bails and leaves the company with that debt...it’s inevitable that the company will go belly up because they can’t pay off the debt.
Such was Bain Capital.

Basically, it’s to elect TEA Party/Conservatives to counterweight a possible Romney election.

That is true but Bain is more than that. Bain sends its minions to the halls of congress everday with cases fulls of money to buy special favors.
That is crony captaialism. To have conservative icons like Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Mark Levin and others actively promote and defend a crony captialist like Mitt Romney and Bain Captial is disgusting. They have sold themselves to the left and for what? One night visit in the WH to in the Linclin Bedroom?
Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are standing in the corner and cheering, the great “so called icons of conservatism” becaue they are on their shows actively promoting and protecting a left wing marxist. They have won the debate, conservatives are promoting and protecting crony captialism and calling it free enterprise.
Yes...Bain, like many companies, have lobbyists.
However, I tend to think that the buck stops with the congresscritter who sells his/her vote for campaign cash.
That is where the problem lies.
