No, this is all me going Newt.

I'm in for Newt too, I just wish he would have approached this differently.

I did not recognize the origin of the picture but when I see it, it turns me into a snarling monster, snapping at everybody and causing people to tell me to lighten up.,p>It's a screen cap from the movie Blazing Saddles. Funny stuff, but it would never pass today's ultra sensitive racial muster.

By the way, Perry’s criticism of Romney on the Bain matter dealt more with the general feeling that Bain took over a lot of companies and fired a lot of people, ie. the evil venture capitalist.

I could get behind Perry if he would catch some momentum, in fact I defended him when he made his famous faux pas.....could happen to anyone imo.

I, unlike many here have not engaged in the circular firing squad, in fact, I have complained about many a time here.

Right now, I am of the opinion Newt is the best we have to choose from. I don't like the way he has handled this aspect but that doesn't mean my support is waning from him.

A little disappointed, yes.

I think the image actually comes from The Treasure of the Sierra Madre in 1948.

Blazing Saddles indeed made a clear reference to the famous "stinking badges" line, though.

(paraphrasing from Blazing Saddles, somewhat) “Milt has killed more jobs than Cecil B. De Mil.”
