President Obama is, unfortunately, right on this one. Congress doesn’t have authority to tell a president how to conduct foreign relations.

Perhaps voters should have considered this before they made an American-hating Marxist our president (you don’t try to fundamentally transform something you love). This also doesn’t count as treason, because we aren’t at war with Russia. Even if it WAS treason, we have no effective way to impeach a president whose party controls the Senate.

One cannot simply do something against the vital interests of the country and call it “diplomacy.”

A state of war is not necessary for treason to occur. Penalties are worse during war but it can occur during peace time as well.
