Teen Accuses Ex-Penn State Coach Sandusky of Raping Him at Charity Camp on Campus
FoxNews.com ^ | December 30, 2011 | Jana Winter

A teenager says he was raped by Jerry Sandusky inside his office in Penn State University’s football building in 2004 — two years after the ex-football coach was said to have had his campus keys taken away and was banned from bringing children into the building, the boy’s lawyer told FoxNews.com.

The now-19-year-old says Sandusky sodomized him when he was 12 years old and attending a summer camp program on the Penn State campus run by Second Mile, Sandusky’s charity organization. The accuser has initiated a civil suit against Sandusky, Second Mile and Penn State University.

The Attorney General’s office is investigating the allegations, FoxNews.com has learned, though a spokesman from the AG’s office declined to comment.

The statute of limitations for criminal charges in such cases is 12 years after the child's 18th birthday.

The teen’s lawyer, Charles Schmidt, told FoxNews.com in an interview on Thursday that Sandusky lured the boy into an office seven years ago, plied him with alcohol and raped him. He said Sandusky then gave the boy Penn State football championship memorabilia, walked him outside and handed him off to a Second Mile counselor.

Schmidt said Sandusky gave the boy a football championship commemorative bottle and a hockey puck, and that both items have recently been turned over to police.

That is a horrible joke, I’m stealing that one this for the playoffs.

In my mind, there will not be a PSU football program by the time this ends. We’re going to see dozens of simultaneous lawsuits across a half dozen jurisdictions (every plaintiff’s lawyer is going to demand a change in venue since almost every judge and prosecutor in central PA is attached to PSU football and Second Mile), and it’s going to turn in to a 2 or 3 year media circus from which PSU will be unable to recruit any decent young men to join the program as freshman.

On top of that,
1. the PSU Athletic staff is going to have over 100% turnover
2. The boosters are going to disappear
3. TV contract renewal will bring in significantly less money
4. The social stigma of wearing PSU football apparel will be so immense it will last for two generations
5. The university is going to be pressured to drop the program continuously for the next 3 to 5 years.
6. The state of Pennsylvania is bankrupt, cutting PSU funding will be easy pickings for myopic pols

Arrest them all and make them pay! We cannot allow this evil to continue in lives of our children.

Why are the pols myopic? Pennsylvania needs a “rest” from PSU. My guess is that enrollments will drop (except for the children of the idiots who “support” the PSU football “program.”) and there will be staff reductions as a consequence. I don’t see a “rebuilding” of PSU without the place being shut down for a period of time and running everyone off who works there. It’s a bigger $hitthole than my alma matter, UC Berkeley, and I thought I’d never be able to make that statement.

I don't know that much about this story, but a lot of it came out in 2011. Reading this article it would seem that Penn State took Sandusky's campus keys away and [he] was banned from bringing children into the building in 2002. Was it really Penn State that did nothing about this or was it an assortment of Government types who were the ones who really declined?

To my knowledge, PSU never took away his keys until this all broke out in November (2011). I’m not even sure if Sandusky doesn’t still have them.

“On top of that,

Positive

“2. The boosters are going to disappear

Zero chance.

“3. TV contract renewal will bring in significantly less money

Probably.

“4. The social stigma of wearing PSU football apparel will be so immense it will last for two generations

Histrionic.

“5. The university is going to be pressured to drop the program continuously for the next 3 to 5 years.

Zero chance.

“6. The state of Pennsylvania is bankrupt, cutting PSU funding will be easy pickings for myopic pols

Somewhat.

I concur. I hope they are all smoked out in the coming years, and held accountable for their silence.

The boosters are going to disappear

Sadly, that doesn't appear to be the case. The indictment and the cover-up of homosexual child rape were announced on November 5, 2011. The number and amount of donations increased - *ping*. Penn State's donations for November 2011 were $3.1 million, almost triple the $1.1 million of November 2010.

I had seen a number of stories that Sandusky was seen at PSU facilities on a regular basis until the story broke. If he turned in his keys, maybe someone gave him a copy, or he still had copies?

I’d have to blame it on PSU though. I don’t think the government could do anything until there was an indictment, no?

So they said. Another guy just stepped forward to say he was assaulted in 2004.
