Looks like he's staying in.

Glad to hear it. It is too early to cut the field too much. Most of the delegates won’t be awarded until much later in the primary calendar.

Not sure I could trust a twitter announcement.

If this is true, he would be at least releasing it to the media through official campaign channels.

HALLELUJAH!!! Santorum won’t go anywhere from Iowa, but Perry may well be able to win in SC and go on from there.

Agree, the candidates go up and down with media attacks.

That’s very encouraging.

No one broke 25% last night. This field is still extremely fractured and Perry right now is far and away my number 1 choice.

Bingo. Newt, however, has good numbers with the seniors and the gift of gab. Hopefully, Mittens will see that and re-educate them on Newt’s failings and baggage allowing Perry some room. Who woulda thunk we’d be here with this slate for the GOP against 0bama? Sheesh.

You are so delusional. Perry the loser spent 4.6 million in Iowa and got his a$$ handed to him. People think he is a joke. Santorum spent 21,000 dollars and WON! Perry is trying to buy the Presidency and people are saying “NO WAY”. The only think loser Perry is doing is taking votes away from Santorum who will ultimately give the win to Romney. Perry is a spoiled brat who is selfish. The message is NOBODY WANTS HIM!!!!!

A vote for Perry is a vote for Romney.

Payback is a bitch, ain't it?

What was Nikki Haley smoking when she endorsed Mittens? Is this another example of the “hot guy” syndrome that seems to have afflicted Ann Coulter and others?

Perhaps Newt and Mittens will destroy each other in NH, which would give Perry a chance in SC.

It's on his campaign website...just saw it.

I pray this is true.

Perry just needs to get busy getting the message out, that he is the only one left, who is ready to begin the downsizing of DC!

Give him strength Lord!

Bachmann just bowed out, so her 5% is up for grabs, now.

With Bachmann out it is time for Newt or Perry to get out and have one Conservative against Mittens.....Conservatives need to have a pre-primary..primary....we always get RINOS

Why should Iowa pick the nominees?

Not sure I could trust a twitter announcement.

In some ways it's very smart. I believe Gingrich did his official kickoff announcement via Twitter and Facebook. This way the information goes straight to your supporters instantly without the media commentary that would accompany a traditional announcement.

Lol, nobody looks hotter than Rick Perry in a pair of tight jeans, and cowboy boots...

Okay, I stole that from the local King of Gayness here, and inserted Rick Perry's name as opposed to a local rancher's kid that the local King of Gayness was slobbering over.
