Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

If you want Cain to stay in the race and fight these smears, then sign the petition at the link below and share your thoughts with the candidate. We have heard that the campaign reads the comments there, and you may make a difference.

He’s either going to announce that he’ll quit the race or he’ll announce that he’s decided to get rid of HBO to save $10 a month on his cable. It could really go either way at this point, and nothing would surprise me.

Hope he stays in. The victory lap for the media might be too much to bear

He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ.

I may be dumb, but if he’s opening a campaign HQ, he’s in.

Some good pieces urging Cain to stay in:

It would be nice if Cain recognized that he was better qualified than Obama but still not ready to serve as President. Announce he will withdraw from the race and make himself available to serve the next President as Secretary of the Treasury. Frankly, Treas. Sec. is the best slot for him in the next administration. Not. Prez. Not V.P.

Standing and applauding...no one could have said it better. (Slight edit.)

Bachmann and Perry are still fighting it out for 5th place and Herman is doing a lot better than either of those, so I doubt he's leaving anytime soon.

ABCNEWS: Announcement pushed back to 1:30 p.m EST.

If you want to see live media bias, check out some of the nasty snarky comments by supposed "journalists" taking potshots at Cain, and Politco gloating over taking him down. Even if you don't support Cain, it would be amazing if he stood up at the podium with Gloria and told them where they can shove it - and stay in! It just sickens to me to see the Left pick and choose our candidates.
