Allen West would be open for a VP run

Two Florida Republicans -- though one is far better known for his political career in Arkansas -- are wading into the race for their party’s presidential nomination this week.

While no Floridian has ever been added to a national ticket, West said he would be open to running for vice president.

West is a good man, a loyal American who has served his country well...and will continue to do so. Very conservative and I like him a lot.

But, IMHO,he was very premature in calling for Cain to quit the race, and played into the progressive/left’s hands in doing so. We cannot allow ourselves or candidates to be initimadated by disgusting, non-credible, un-substantiated hatchet job attacks into giving up...or they will play that tune against every single one.

Did he call on Cain to quit the race or did he answer a question about what advice he’d give to Cain considering the new allegation. There is a difference, and truth comes into play.

Me too. Am not happy that his district has been reconfigured in a way that makes it about four points less favorable to GOP.
