ATLANTA -- Herman Cain on Monday pre-emptively denied a forthcoming accusation by a woman who is expected to say she had a 13-year affair with the Republican presidential candidate.
In an apparent effort to get ahead of the story, Cain appeared in a cable news interview to say the woman is "someone who I know, who is an acquaintance, who I thought was a friend."
MyFoxAtlanta.com released some details of the story, which is scheduled to air Monday night, shortly after Cain appeared on CNN -- identifying the accuser as an Atlanta businesswoman named Ginger White.
"It was pretty simple," White told the station. "It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship."

You nailed it, show me proof or STHU! It is so obvious that they are attacking Mr Cain with everything they have because they want him gone. To not see this, you have to be an idiot or complicit. They fear Mr Cain, as well they should. This is the Chicago Way, look it up. The only question is if we conservatives fold. Cain is the ONLY person who can stop Obama and that is why the Secret Service is protecting him as we speak. If the anti conservatives on this site were real conservatives and believed these stories about Mr Cain, they would wait for proof but they are not and will not. They should move back to the Chicago sewer where they came from.
Cain never harassed her or treated her poorly, though their physical relationship ended eight months ago, just before Cain announced his candidacy for president, White said. She provided some text messages and phone bills as documentation of her contact with Cain.The station also released a statement from Cain's attorney, Lin Wood, who said the allegations of "private, alleged consensual conduct between adults" is not "not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public."
If she has released texts and phone bills as the above quote from the article suggests, and if the campaign's defense is "consensual relationship", then one has to wonder if this is an attempt at innoculation or a defense?
I'm going to suggest that Cain is done in Iowa and New Hampshire as America sorts out how to deal with new, private information that's being revealed. The voting public won't have this sorted out by then.
They've had decades to sort out the Gingrich affairs.
Cain's stuff, however, is raw and new, and who knows what else will pop up.

You can’t see past your nose that this woman has a long history of financial problems, sexual harrassment, stalking and libel. See if you can trade in your pointy hat for a thinking cap. You might get one cheaply while it’s still Cyber Monday.

A judge entered an order in favor of Kimberly Vay because Ms. White failed to respond to the lawsuit.
Sounds like another possible borderline, of the type Gloria Allred likes to get her hands on.
