Business owners DO have certainty.
They are certain that the POTUS is outspokenly hostile towards free enterprise, views profits as an evil to be redistributed, and is inherently suspicious of business in general. He even called his time in the private sector as like being among “the enemy”.
Business owners are quite certain of the current climate - which is why they won’t be hiring anyone until this wet blanket is defeated.

Interesting sidelight - in perusing left-wing publications and websites lately, I have seen a number of common themes being pushed by the Progressive leadership organizations. One of these themes is that government regulations do not truly cost jobs, and business tax rates do not influence either hiring or choice of location.
Apparently, economic "studies" are being used to support these claims and then disseminated to the news media as having come from "non-partisan" think tanks (e.g. - the Economic Policy Institute) , which are of course anything but "non-partisan".

Good point..I tend to agree with you..you don’t hire lobbyists to speak to the choir..you want them to try and win some votes over to your side...so who better than Blanche to try and swing some blue dawgs...
