Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (WTH? Hussein rising?)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 14 November 2011 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 11/14/2011 6:56:26 AM PST by ScottinVA

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15 (see trends).

That’s the president’s best Approval Index rating in three months. Still, most voters continue to favor repeal of his primary legislative accomplishment, the health care law.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook

Overall, 50% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. That’s the first time since June that the president has reached the 50% mark. Forty-nine percent (49%) at least somewhat disapprove.

Unreal. I wonder if this is statistical noise. The next few days should give us an indication.

BHO is going to win reelection. When that happens it’s not going to be pretty.

You are one of the posters who knew this was coming. Both of us have been minorly flamed suggesting that beating Obama will be a huge challenge.

At this point, if I was handicapping, I’d make Obama 3:2 favorite.

I hope it’s just statistical noise, but he’s been trending up, especially in overall approval, since late last week. I wonder what gives...

Thanks.. and I agree on those 3:2 odds.

Obama is confident in his ineptitude, knowing he has the MSM covering for him. If Solyndra, Lightsquared and F & F had been on a GOP watch, heads would be rolling, poll numbers would be tanking.

This is just a residual effect of him drifting to the background in the political dialog.

The economy isrecovering. I see it statistically, I'm aware of it anecdotely as well. Just the way it is, and hes the beneficiary of that, unfortunately.

I think this is also, in part, a product of the GOP candidates sliming each other during the past few months. It causes voters to take a second look at Obama and perhaps decide... “They’re all bad (on the GOP side)... I’ll stay with the devil I know.”

And THAT is the difference between Old America and New America. Old America looked at Big Government as an obstacle to success and prosperity. New America looks to government largesse as that which nourishes it.

He’s betting on the stupidity of the American people. It’s a pretty good bet.

___________

All of the above.

He seems to be out of the media lately which probably helps as well.

He has to be favored in 2012. No primary, huge war chest, etc. It certainly does not bode well for our country.

A lot can change, though.

It's been an autumn weekend and the weather was nice in my area. Some people were outside enjoying the weekend, away from telephones, and others were inside with the window shades drawn and the door locked and barred, near telephones. You can make your own guess as to which group approves of Obama, and which group disapproves.

If Zero is at -12 by this Friday you can worry a little.

This “rise” falls within the margin of error, so I wouldn’t get excited.

Its just noise. Last I checked, the economy is not getting better (consumer confidence is low) and scandals (solar) are not going away.

I think one factor to consider. Whenever Hussien gives a speach or presser, his numbers go down. He was not really visible last week. Hence the soft bump.

On another FR article, Hussien just called Americans lazy....yep, that will boost his numbers!

I completely agree. He's still the "shiny new bling," I guess.

I agree with those of you who think Hussein will pull this off and it might not even be close.

We have weak GOP candidates, Bam is the incumbent with available opportunities to lie and cheat his way to victory again, he has the MSM in his pocket and many voters are dumber than boxes of rocks.
There just aren’t enough of us who understand the implications and we will be powerless to stop the insanity.

Pray for our Republic.

Maybe he is trending up because he is out of the country?
