I think that the relatives of the Ft. Hood shooting might have something to say about that too.

I guess the Muslims missed the six o’clock news-———prayer time?

The shooting at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas, which left 12 soldiers and one civilian dead and 32 others injured, is just one instance in a series of attacks and plots targeting American military by extremists motivated by a radical interpretation of Islam.

The November 5, 2009, shooting at Fort Hood was the second deadly attack against a military target in the U.S. by an apparent Muslim extremist. On June 1,2009, Abdulahakim Mujahid Muhammad allegedly shot two uniformed American soldiers, killing one of them, at a military recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas. In an interview following his arrest, Muhammad reportedly said he wanted revenge on the American military in response to the American military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan. Muhammad also warned that other Muslims in this country “are going to attack.”

On July 27, 2011, Private First Class Naser Jason Abdo was arrested and charged for allegedly planning a similar attack against Fort Hood military personnel. A search of his motel room turned up a large supply of ammunition, weapons and what an FBI agent has described as “some components which could be considered bomb-making materials. An article from Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula’s English-language Inspire magazine on “How to “Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom” was also found in the room.
