Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Dobson. Apparently his fans think he's some kind of heir apparent to Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson even though he's close to same age of those guys, no longer chairman of the Focus on the Family, and doesn't even hold any type of church position or ordination. His background is in child psychology and he writes books and does radio shows related to that. How this guy got to be known as a "Christian leader" is beyond me. Guess he just proclaimed himself to be a "Christian leader" one day and "expert" on all things Christian, so people went along with it. He has as much authority to speak about church issues as I do... we're both lay parishioners.
