Pre-teen girls were probably always Barry Manilow’s biggest audience. The Justin Bieber of his time ...

Then after that, it will be on Muzak. The REAL big time. I'll never forget the day I was in a supermarket and heard Blind Faith's "Can't find my way home" in Muzak.
I was going to make a comment to the cashier, but she was 18 and wouldn't understand.

"...list of the songs Led Zep, uh, borrowed..."ALL brit bands from the late 60's borrowed style, riffs and whole tunes. Primarily from American bluesmen. Check out the 1966 film Blow Up, Stroll On. Beck and Page.

I think you meant to say that about Rush
The band that is still around selling out arenas and millions of records almost 38 years later on their own?

Happy for you but after hearing it several thousand times I’ve grown to hate it. I’ll switch stations within 8 notes.

Whatever she’s listening to now will end up on a Depends commercial before she has time to blink.

Whole Lotta Love is best appreciated loudly. I blew out the speakers in my Civic playing that one song. It happened twice.

Blind Faith was a great band. They were. But years later when I bought the CD, I had to turn the cover backwards, for the kids sake! LOL They love all my classic music.

That is sacrilege! Blind Faith's album is one of the most underrated in rock IMHO. Steve Winwood is an incredible talent and Clapton was at his peak when they recorded it.

They did what The Who should have done after Moon died, they knew it wasn’t the same band without him, so they ended it.
