The Second Amendment has rebounded in the last half-century as support doubled since 1959, the Gallup poll reported. Nearly 3 out of every 4 Americans now opposes a ban on handguns — only 1 in four are for banning possession of a handgun. In 1959, 60% of Americans favored banning handguns — and only 36% opposed such an affront to the Second Amendment.
The jump in support for handguns shows what an utter failure the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence has been. Handgun use is up, yet gun homicides are down, contrary to what the Brady Campaign has preached for a quarter-century.
The Supreme Court ruling in the Heller case which struck down D.C.’s virtual gun ban (followed by the McDonald case which did the same thing in Chicago) reflected not only the Constitution but public opinion.

The Founding Fathers were smart guys. They knew the Second Amendment secures all of the others. Tyrants like Obama and Napolitano are justifiably afraid of the Second Amendment. Can you imagine what they’d do to an unarmed populace?

I think they must not have polled the cockroaches in DC. I pretty sure 90% would like to see the Little People unarmed. Then again Jug Ears has it all under control w/ F&F. I’ll bet that’s not a record low (though pretty good and admittedly moving in the right direction). I’ll bet in the revolutionary days it was 0.00001% in favor. We still have a way to go before we can claim the “all time” crown” as defenders of liberty.

In the majority of cases, why waste the ammunition?
Flashmobs and the Knockout Game/Kings will tend to make liberals set aside politics and start thinking about self preservation.
The ones that are still against guns haven’t had a flashmob clean their business out or a group of urban thugs do Riverdance on their back.
Some will NEVER convert though. Those are critters in life that are destined to bare their throats.
It depends on the situation. One-on-one to me is personal and I like the extra touch as I have a rather savage and vicious disposition when threatened or attacked. One-on-many is where one shot to the thoracic triangle shall suffice and where every shot must count.
