Obama the Bounty Hunter

The streets are awash in optimism.

Bin Laden and Qaddafi are dead, democracy is running rampant in the Middle East, God’s in His heaven and all’s right with the world.

To add to this incredible opium, Senator Lindsay Graham said Libya’s new government will pay us back $1.5 billion as reimbursement to our taxpayers for our Libyan actions. Steve McQueen (Wanted: Dead or Alive) would have been proud of this bounty on the head of a bad guy.

The sad part of listening to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Lindsay Graham, and even John McCain, is that none of the above is founded in historic reality.

Any revolution, including ours of 1776, has counter revolutions that creates ebb and flow until the real truth settles out.

The belief that Libya will now move to a democratic society after a dictatorship is unrealistic.

The three tribes have been kept at bay by a buffer which has now been removed.

To believe these tribes will have a kumbaya moment and disregard thousands of years of traditional hatred is naïve at best and dangerous at worst.

Unfortunately, these attitudes prevail in many camps, both Republican and Democrat; Liberal and Conservative.

Ten years of war in Afghanistan is a lifetime for the American people, but for the Afghans it is a blink of an eye in their history and tradition.

The miracle of Germany was their rebirth following the total destruction of WWII. However, the Germans were not trying to move in a different historical direction than they had previously proceeded for hundreds of years.

They maintained their individuality and idiosyncrasies as most countries do, which is why unifying under the European Union has created so many problems.

You can’t change what or who people are.

Regrettably, this lesson has not been learned in the Middle East.

When I took my grandson to the beach one day, we spent hours building a sandcastle. He was sunburned, had sand in his mouth, and even cut his little finger.

I said “was it worth it?”

He said “Yes, Poppa, look what we built. It’s beautiful, and it will last forever so people will see it every time they come to the beach.”

I didn’t have the heart to tell him or show him the next day that all our efforts would be swept away by the tide.

It was inevitable.

So to it will be for the Middle East.

No matter how much we hope, and how much we pray, and how much we wish that somehow this time it will be different.

When Afghanistan isn’t united to fight against “outsiders”, they go back to fighting amongst themselves.

Never thought I’d say such a thing, but we should pull ALL our troops out of there and let them go back to killing each other.

We need our troops here in America, not only to secure our borders and fellow Americans, but secure us from the oppressive government we now have.

“Yes, Poppa, look what we built. It’s beautiful, and it will last forever so people will see it every time they come to the beach.”

Not surprising coming from a kid: sadly, his sentiments sound like those of hero-worshiping Obama voters who also have seen inconvenient reality intrude on their naive hopes.

I wish that I could say that the expressions of our current ground of leaders is something new - but they ain't.

You can trace their false reasoning back almost 100 years (it will be 100 years in six more years) to Wilson's claim of “Making the World Safe for Democracy”.

The appalling bloodbaths of World War I and World War II kinda of discredited that idea for a while.

Then there was the push to spread the blessings of democracy to Vietnam. That was a smashing success wasn't it?

Now we have our professional rulers (aka politicians) expounding of the spread of democracy into the Islamic World. Don't expect them to recant when this too blows up in our faces.

Unfortunately, democracy is very much like a hot house flower. It can grow and bloom only under very carefully controlled conditions. You can display it, for short periods of time, almost any where. And while being displayed it brightens any room you find it in. But, when you try to grow it outside the carefully controlled conditions of a hot house it turns ugly and dies more times than not.

Try growing an orchid in the wilds of New England or the Northern Plains for any example.

We are, like it or not, the product of time, space, and culture as it existed in the mid 18th century. Those conditions will not exist again until wooden sailing ships become the highest technology available for international travel and communications.

America was lucky and we are lucky. And that is the bottom line.

Obama had nothing to do with the killing of Gaddaffi. He simply didn’t.

At the same damn time, if one of our troops had caught a surrendering prisoner, even Gaddaffi, and put a bullet in his head, the media would be going bonkers over it. They’d be sending those guys to jail until the trial and they’d throw away the key.

I know it. The Haditha Marines know it. The Hamandiya Marines know it. Our sniper teams know it. Our SpecOps know it.

They would be fighting for their freedom at this very moment in the same way that Staff Sergeant Wuterich is fighting for his. Hillary can say “we came, we saw, he died” and that’s just wonderful. Interpreting his ROEs before battle and saying “shoot first, ask questions later” has Wuterich on trial for years and for his freedom nigh onto a decade now.

It’s say. She’s gloating, and he was trying to keep his young troops from getting killed by being too cautious.

It sickens me the way we treat our own military.

If a Republican President had ordered/condoned the “offing” of any Islamo Serial Killer, the MSM and rats in congress would have started impeachment procedures. When their oreo does it, he is a hero.

Below is a little humor from a 1980 skit where Krazy Kaddafy has been “offed” and is meeting with St Peter:

Really?

Who declared war - totally illegally - on Libya?

And from the get go - Quadaffi was PERSONALLY targeted for the kill. Many civilians, many children, including little grandkids of Quadaffi's, were killed in targeted bombings of Quadaffi's known HQ"s AND private residences.

Guadaffi dead was on the main goals list from day one. He wouldn't be dead today but for the illegal act of war by our pres.

So how is he blameless?

So, you’re telling me that Franklin Roosevelt killed Admiral Yamamoto in WWII because he was president.

Or better yet, Roosevelt killed Reinhard Heydrich because we were involved in the war, too even other nations actually did it?

JMHO, but I think our FRiend meant something more nearly approximately "creditless". Which I agree with.

Giving unconstitutional directives, cooperating unconstitutionally with the NWO worldwide conspiracy, delivering acts of war without the sanction of the Congress, leading from the rear -- the man's been a perfect showcase of Marxist-style leadership, like Napoleon in Animal Farm.

And of course he displays heads on pikes and thumps his chest when it's time to take the credit. Which is, again, very Marxist and repugnant to any conception of human honor.

Obama did NOT have a master plan for taking out Daffy!

How quickly we forget, the Libyan revolt started of it’s own accord and Obama only put his oar in when Daffy was closing in on Benghazi—bellowing as to how he was going to massacre everybody there—and he did so with extreme reluctance. Leading with the behind and hiding behind NATO’s token efforts.

Osama’s take-down had been in the works for over a decade. Awlaki was a similar story. Obama simply signed off on their efforts.

Do NOT start giving him Dr. Evil mastermind credit. He is laughably incompetent.

Now, if he decided to follow this up by blasting the Somali pirates and sending Ahmadinnerjacket and Bashar to the Happy Hunting Grounds I would sit up and take notice.
