A New Spending Record ($ 3.6 TRILLION! -- truly a "must read" with data)
Wall Street Journal ^ | Oct 19, 2011 | WSJ

... the government had its best year ever, spending a cool $3.6 trillion. That beat the $3.52 trillion posted in 2009, when the feds famously began their attempt to spend America back to prosperity.

The Obama years have racked up the three largest deficits, both in absolute amounts and as a share of GDP, since Hitler still terrorized Europe. Some increase in deficits was inevitable given the recession, but to have deficits of nearly $1.3 trillion two years into a purported economic recovery simply hasn't happened in modern U.S. history.

I can't believe this wasn't posted before, but I couldn't find it. It think it needs to be bookmarked and saved off line for future reference.

And ask yourself, if we can really afford Obama for another four years?

We are so screwed. When this house of cards finally crashes it’s going to be really, really ugly.

Will Omoron actually admit he is the culprit along with his merry band of fiends in the Democrat party?

Putting the Dems in charge of government controlling both houses and the Presidency for just 2 years is comparable to giving four years olds your wallet and dropping them off at the candy store. When you pick them up all you have is an empty wallet and a houseful of cavities.

So the Republican Congress increased spending from $3,456B to $3,600B, a $244B increase.

But the year before the Democratic Congress decreased spending from $3,520 to $3,456B, a $64B decrease?

Can anyone tell me why we vote for Republicans? “Win the Future” is wrong with these Republicans? What is wrong with us that we don’t care enough to do anything about them? Why are most of them being primaried?

I’ve come to the opinion that we might as well see it crash. Most people can’t even figure out that Republicans increased spending in 2011 over 2010. What hope is there for people who can’t do arithmetic but expect to be taken seriously?

Bob Beauprais on townhall.com has a similar feature today. The ave. American has no understanding of these stats. And the Pubs do not, except for Newt , how these stats affect the everyday citizen. It is endemic on Pubs to do so for 2012. These show how on purpose Dems have tried to erase our free enterprise system and spend us into ....Greece or Ethiopia!

No but it's what we'll get. Besides, it's all Bush's fault. /s
