No one brings up Cain’s Enron-like Aquila lawsuit which he was on the board of I guess because of a certain blogger that researched it. But who knows, one day, Cain will not get the kid-glove treatment, we will see more than his good record.
The key to being a “darling” these days is have no political record. That means you never have to explain a vote, or an executive decision, or a policy that you forwarded. You can say magical things that have no basis in reality, filled with skittles and unicorns.
Give me a guy with conservative working experience: Perry, Gingrich, Bachmann. Let the talk show hosts stay on the radio where they belong.
