You have an uncanny ability to see things that were never written. I don't have a position on China. I thought Huntsman and Romney both made good, opposing points. My point was that Perry didn't make any point whatsoever on the issue. He redirected the topic of conversation.
Maybe that's why I was so angry at Perry's answer - I actually want to learn more about the China debate, and where the candidates stood.
You are pretty lucky they have these obnoxious children dressed up like they are Professors at Harvard giving liberal talking points on how to save the economy, parroting Obama policies.
That's where I'm at also. Can't believe they didn't let Cain respond to Bachman’s arguments regarding future increases. I think it would have been informative to hear Cain's response there.

If we don’t move away from taxing production we are going to simply witness continuing decline in competiveness
We cannot continue to rack up debt first with mortgages and then with government debt to support our massive importation of the goods we buy
We are running out of ways to borrow our consumption, and are about to simply sink to a much lower standard of living
Moving from production tax to consumption tax will turn around our abysmal savings rate and allow businesses who manufacture here to be competitive again

Highlights so far: Huntsman thought 9-9-9 was really $9.99, the price of a pizza. And I think Bachmann just accused Cain of being satanist. Other than that, pretty ho-hum.
