‘OCCUPY BOSTON’ HOLDS RALLY FOR ACCUSED TERRORIST CHARGED WITH PLANNING ‘VIOLENT JIHAD’ AGAINST U.S.

Using the upcoming trial of jihadist Terak Mehana — who was arrested on federal terrorism charges — as a springboard, the “Occupy” movement has stretched beyond Wall Street and Washington to D.C. to the Rose Kennedy Greenway of Boston.

To add fuel to the fire, The Boston Herald reports that the protesters played host to Mehanna’s supporters, who are using the demonstration to draw attention to the accused terrorist’s trial.

Well, the group certainly seems to be accomplishing its mission. What the demonstration has also done, however, is draw correlation between the “Occupy” movements and those charged with conspiring to commit jihad — atrocious acts of murder — against fellow citizens on American soil and soldiers abroad.

The Tarek Mehanna Support Committee reportedly came to Occupy Boston’s tent city to spread the word that, according to them, the Muslim American pharmacist is merely a victim of an anti-Muslim crusade.

The U.S. government, however, says Mehanna provided “material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization,” and acted as a “media wing” for al-Qaeda.

According to a bio in Time Federal authorities arrested then 27-year-old Mehanna in 2009 on charges that he conspired to provide material support to terrorists and planned to carry out a “violent jihad” by killing U.S. politicians, attacking American soldiers in Iraq and targeting customers at U.S. shopping malls.

Not surprising considering that they are both down with the struggle/jihad.

Freaking Marxist revolutionaries being incited to violence by their Marxist commander-in-chief currently occupying the White House.

The top story on reddit.com right now is something along the lines of, “HOLY CRAP, THEY’RE ARRESTING EVERYBODY IN BOSTON! RAGE! RIOT POLICE! RAGE! POLICE STATE! WHARRRGARRBLLL!!”.

I’d be willing to bet that the rally for the jihadist, might be connected to the arrests.

Of course, it could also just be a couple of spoiled college kids acting like spoiled college kids with a trust fund and an inferiority complex because they have yet to do anything of worth with their lives.

Tim Caputo of Channel 7. Boston’s twitter feed says (within the last hour), “I did not see anything like that. A few people were taken to the ground to be put in cuffs. Saw NO injuries”

It’s going to be really hard to sort through the BS for the average Joe who is still asleep. We have our work cut out for us.

>>BOSTON — More than 50 protesters from the Occupy Boston movement were arrested early Tuesday after they ignored warnings to move from a downtown greenway near where they have been camped out for more than a week, police said.

Police spokesman Jamie Kenneally said the arrests began about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and were mostly for trespassing.

The protesters, part of the national Occupy Wall Street movement, had tried to expand from their original site in Dewey Square to a second site across the street, along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. A local conservancy group recently planted $150,000 worth of shrubs along the greenway and officials said they were concerned about damage.

more from above
Early Tuesday, about 10 police officers patrolled the greenway, some with dogs. Protesters who went to a nearby police station to bail people out did not find anyone there, and by 4 a.m. they had returned to their encampment to discuss how to raise $4,000 in bail money.

Police did not report any arrests from an earlier standoff, where hundreds of students from 10 area colleges marched through downtown Monday, briefly confronting police while attempting to hang a banner on a Boston bridge.

The protesters gathered on Boston Common and marched in front of the Massachusetts Statehouse carrying signs that read “Apathy isn’t working, Raise your voice,” and chanting slogans like “Fund education, not corporations” and “We got sold out. Rich got bailed out.

>>Meanwhile, the Occupy Boston movement, whose members have been living on the Greenway for 10 days, claim not to have an official position on the Mehanna case despite hosting his support rally.

OK well can we hold a Tea Party rally there “hosted by them” and they can have no official position on us...?

So these people are supporting a terrorist???

Exactly who are these people and what do they want???

What are the issues???

With other protests, at least you know what the cause they are protesting. For example, if there is an abortion rights march or a gay rights march, you know what it is they are supporting.

In this Occupy Wall Street business, it seems like there is an incoherent parade of kooks and crackpots who are against everything. They seem to oppose capitalism and all established institutions. At least that’s what I gather. They seem to think that America itself is evil and that we need social, economic, and political revolution. But they seem to incoherent as to what exactly should replace the institutions of our society.

Flashmob to Free Tarek Mehanna! Boston, MA Oct. 9 2011 (video)

I had to look up who this guy was:
” A pharmacy college graduate conspired with two other men on a terror plot to kill two prominent U.S. politicians and carry out a holy war by attacking shoppers in U.S. malls and American troops in Iraq, prosecutors said Wednesday.
But their plans — in which the men used code words like "peanut butter and jelly" for fighting in Somalia and "culinary school" for terrorist camps — were thwarted in part when they could not find training and were unable to buy automatic weapons, authorities said.

It would seem Tarek Mehanna brother wrote a book about him. Here is his brother talk on Youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARDmyqqSfwY

his brother is very good with propaganda. Listen to him at 2:00 on he explains in layman terms what Islam is for muslims. It is a social order or a perfect form of socialism and this is why the left LOVES Islam.

most of those living the Middle east have not lived Islam yet they strive to have it. Iran was the most western of all in the Middle east when the Shah was removed (thanks carter!) Islam took over now the people hate it.

Same with the left when they had a perfect socialism they hated it and now try to claim i was right wing to avoid the truth. We know it as National Socialism.

The left is nothing but feelings with no logic or reason and to me that is nuts. The Vulcans(spock) might be right logic might be the only way to save our planet

I literally live a couple blocks from the Rose Kennedy Greenway (ugh), though at the other end of it (don’t say anything) from the hippies, and I have yet to see any of these people. I don’t know if I have the stomach to walk down that end and see what’s going on, though my brother works near there and texts me on his way to and from work about it.

All I’ve seen is the trust fund kids whose parents pay their rent in my neighborhood, in their best meet-boys clothes, coming back with their little signs about revolution.
