What Government state or Federal invest in Henry Ford, Steve Jobs, IBM, Microsoft, or the United States Oil Industry who FDR credited with winning Word War 2.

I know, lets increase the cost of energy exponentially so we can have a strong economic recovery.

State Representative Max Tyler claimed that requiring utilities such as Xcel Energy to boost renewables from 20 to 30 percent within the next decade would create tens of thousands, of jobs in the New Energy Economy without increasing energy costs. Simpleton ignorance on parade. This is just like adding tens of millions of people to the "free" Obamacare will lower all of our health care costs. Government lards on more regulations requiring abandonment of existing infrastructure and replacement by more expensive, less efficient, unreliable and more labor-intensive sources of energy, and these economic dunderheads think this is going to hold costs flat and provide "jobs." It is breathtaking how truly stupid these politicians are. But, it is not surprising given that smart people rarely enter politics.

” Americas New Energy Economy and that it would be a lasting legacy to our children and all future generations. “
Can’t argue with that - the mountains of debt being piled up are certain to be a ‘lasting legacy to our children and all future generations’....
