You missed the most likely option: The U.S. is broken beyond repair.

Look at the numbers and face reality. We had some chance before Obama. But that spawn of satan has driven us into greater depths of debt than I thought possible.

Who, in their right mind, wants to be president when the debts finally decide our course?

Shadow Wars, my friend. We are seeing the battlelines being drawn and pretend we don’t. This has nothing to do with who is president and a LOT more to do with who controls the presidency...and it hasn’t been We the People for an awfully long time.
Each and every one of us has a duty to stand up against this. One person cannot do it. Sarah has chosen to fight on THEIR turf, not from inside an imaginary bubble called the presidency. She has more guts than anyone has given her credit for.
Does anyone here REALLY believe that obama controls ANYTHING? He’s so frikking stupid he can’t remember what year it is.
Look around you. The left has total control. If that control thinks it will LOSE control, they will begin a scorched earth. That is what we are looking at. That is what Sarah sees. Her entrance into this race would have triggered that. Are you people so blind that you can’t see what is going on?
We need to become an army or yes, we die.

I just thought— Can these people really be that stupid? Do they really want more of this current idiot?

Yes and Yes.

Every liberal I know parrots the the teleprompter reader's blame of the Republicans. Every one. Not one questions him or his increasing debt. Not one can sustain a reasonable dialogue about him; it always ends with my being called a racist.

the MSM wrecked that woman and, in the process of wrecking her, they probably wrecked her family too.

the young punk conservative wannabee’s have NO CLUE what is going

where are they when it comes to retrobution for all the slander that has become the norm from the left .. they hide behind FREEDOM OF SPEECH so they don’t have to do anything

FREEDOM OF SPEECH has a responibility to it and all should be held to that, but that would actually require some work

How do we defeat them ? How do we make sure that never happens again to any other candidate in the USA.

The founding fathers wanted the media to be tough and nasty, They have that right. I don’t know how we can solve this problrm.

“America has been through worse before. The Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI, the Great Depression, WWII, and has always bounced back. Yes, we have serious problems now. That is the exact time to be strong and not give up.”

There’s one difference between those challenges and today: Back then, America was populated and led by AMERICANS.

AMERICANS.

I do not what the American electorate is today. Only that it is not what it was.

It is not the country that saw Princenton freshman line up en-masse across campus in front of enlistment offices hours after Pearl Harbor was bombed. It is not the country that rebuilt the Pacific fleet in months.

I give up. I don’t care who wins now. Obama can win and ruin the country for all I care. Any gop pick won’t make a difference. If we’re going down, best to have Obama doing the driving so we know without a shadow of doubt that who’s the cause. So that by 2016, we can pick the right gop candidate

“Reagan didn’t quit the Governerhip like Palin did . HUGH difference.”

Indeed - remember when the country had leaders like Washington and Lincoln. Imagine what it would be like for them to turn down the highest office “for family reasons.”

This country lacks true patriots, and by that I do not mean the guys and gals who only play patriots on TV.

Toughness needs to be tempered with fairness or else you don’t have media, you have a propaganda and that is exactly what US media/entertainment has become.

The Left spends a lot of time and effort going after Sarah Palin. they will also spend a lot of time and effort going after whomever is the Republican Nominee. It would be better for us if they were not the same person.
If I were the nominee, I would point out that what they are doing to Sarah Palin is what they would do to you, if you got in their way. Do we really want an ordinary citizen to be targeted by the government for the simple act of having opinions?

'Reminding me of the slogan:

"You proved in 2008 that you were not Racist—Now, prove in 2012 that you're not Stupid!"

I agree, this is sad, The Tea Party Has officially been Killed by the Establishment.Of Course they have always said there has never been a Single leader for the Movement but now the SELECTED candidate Romney does not give a Crap about it except to give it Lip Service.
I am really disappointed in Sarah Palin, after all the Courage she has turned Coward, she is not a Leader ,I dont need another Bloviator,we need people in positions of Power that can do what needs to be done and I agree with you ,Cain is the Only one left and I dont think he has the Instincts to survive the Saboteurs.
The Die is Cast,Prepare for the worst and Hope for the Best

...but did you notice the tough slog they made through the marsh?

All I can do is laugh.

Plus, I see your are channeling your anger about "Sarah's" announcement onto others. Hope you can sleep tonight.

Is there a suicide hotline you can call....

Heck no she never had any intention to run.

She’s kind of a weird chick. Her supporters, the real hardliners, really got suckered.

Ok, baby, buh bye.

“a Title” - what does that mean? What, she’s going to be the unofficial president?

What was done to Sarah is a symptom of the cultural rot that is destroying this country. The question is...can we reverse the trend? Personally; I don’t think so.
