“Love all the gloating from the haters.”

It was you and all the other Mama Fizzly worshippers who attacked anyone who didn’t fall on their knees before Her Highness.

The libtards heads are going to explode! Sarah is now more dangerous to the left than she would have been as a candidate!

I am not the least bit suprised. She knows she would have been savaged and would not have got the nomination. It isnt looking good for the GOP....another compromise candidate will be put forth...

I feel as sick as I did on November 5, 2008. God help us.

Well, now what? She was the only true conservative "potential candidate" that we had left. Now we have to choose between Romney and Perry.

Unless a true conservative comes along, I'm sitting this one out. I can't choose between an occultist, a Dominionist and the present occupant of the White House.

A gloat-free “I told you so”. She would have needed to announce by the summer if she wanted to really run and win. Sarah Palin made a wise decision, and I wish her and her family all the best and hope she continues to be a shining light of the GOP, conservative and Tea Party movements.

As Michelle Bachmann put it “The table is now set.”

No wonder CAIN is rising.

Very disappointed. IMO, she was the leading conservative. Watching the debates so far, the rest of the candidates was like watching grass grow.

I don't think she will get a another opportunity like she had this time.

Time to move on.

No one should be gloating. Well, I might be feeling a little vindicated tonight especially when conversing with some of the more obnoxious (to me) Palin supporters but I won’t be posting any “ha-ha” type posts and I hope that my fellow conservatives keep it classy.

Cain/Bachmann would be a one-two punch for the libs: A black and a woman.

And CAIN is fantastic.

A great woman is lost as a candidate.

There is no reason to rejoice and I am thoroughly disgusted with all the Palin-bashers on this web site who are so misguided as to celebrate this sad event.

Oh, do I wish you rock-throwers would experience the undeserved hatred shown to this wonderful woman and her family.

Those on this site celebrating Palin's announcement are the truly "damaged goods."

1) Good for Sarah. I bet she realized that she would not win the general election and instead will allow an electable conservative to run. It takes a strong character to put aside their personal ambitions to do what is best for their country.

2) If she is really not running for fear of her family, that is a telling reflection on the state of this country and should serve as a wake-up call for all.

3) The reactions of her most ardent supporters are amazing and unsurprising. This is what happens when you put too much faith in one imperfect woman.

4) The stool of conservatism has three complementary legs. They are social conservatism, fiscal conservatism, and national defense conservatism. Her letter reflects a disturbing trend, which is emphasizing fiscal conservatism at the expense of social conservatism and national defense conservatism.

Sorry, but economic issues are the least of our worries right now. Sure, Obama is implementing the worst economic policies in the history of our nation. However, our nation is sill very wealthy. People all over the world still dream about living at the high material standard that we do, and most people who ever set foot on this earth would die to live like the “poorest” among us do. On the other hand, a million of our most innocent are butchered a year in their very own mothers’ wombs, its becoming more and more the case that we are beginning to be forced to pretend that Adam and Steve are married, and the institution of the nuclear family is still in shambles. On the national defense side, suicidal mullahs in Iran are beginning to get nuclear capabilities, a new and better than ever caliphate is potentially forming in the Middle East, the existence of Israel is being put in ever increasing danger, not-so-friendly China is still on the rise, and we have porous borders that our emperor refuses to close. As for miscellaneous issues, our Second Amendment rights are being pried away from us, we have a ridiculous amount of illegal immigrants, people are acting like global warming isn’t a laughable scam, race-relations are being set back decades, and we have a wannabe president in office doing his best to either destroy this nation and/or become dictator of America, caliph, or ruler of the universe.

So yeah, fiscal conservatism is important, and it complements the rest of the conservative platform. But the economy is not the #1, consensus, by-far most important issue right now, and conservatives should stop acting like it is.

Thats really too bad. It will be a “turnout-less” election-probably for both sides.

If I could send a condolence card, I would. To read between the lines of her statement, she's right: she can do more damage to the current regime from behind the scenes, than she could do by tossing her hat in the ring in the current environment. We're up against a collective of anti-American, Vichy collaborators so repugnant to our national heritage, they make the Clinton administration look downright accommodating. Sarah Palin, private citizen, can inflict a lot more wounds than could Sarah Palin, GOP presidential candidate and tackling dummy for a boot-licking, government-directed mass media. At the end of the day, her stock will do nothing but go up.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

This is not a total loss.....I would much rather see 16 years of Palin than eight. I see her running as VP again. With the right person as president, she has two terms as VP. After her successful terms as VP, it’s only obvious she will have two more terms as president. A guy can hope....
