Until she declares, I don’t see the need for discussion of the topic.

I wouldn't vote for Palin now if you paid me. This isn'r a cat and mouse game.

Anyways, awhile back, I decided that what she really wanted was a big fat media job....and One Mil for starters isn't bad.

The timing today isn’t the timing of yesteryear.

Many states have moved up their election after feeling they were being deemed unimportant to tiny bergs like NH and Idaho.

wee willie clinton started the idea of the election cycle starting on Inauguration Day. That continues to this day.

We are well into the election cycle. A late entry will be seen as cynical manipulation and probably rejected across the board (except for the tiny but loud cadre of “The Faithful”).

The ship has sailed. And Gov. Palin, contrary to the beliefs of her acolytes, cannot walk on water.

One has to be born to die right? When Sarah’s campaign births many will wish it died. I will not be among those folks though.

So if it's Palin vs Hussein you'll vote for Hussein or won't vote?

FWIW if it ISN'T Palin - or someone VERY similar - I intend to sit out the presidential race and put my efforts and resources into local, state and other national campaigns.

Out of the current crop of pubbies, none make my list with the possible exception of Cain.

I suppose the one justifiable question all ask, at one time or another, is why? Why wait soooooo long? This leads to the tipping point question of when is too late? What are the advantages to an extraordinary delay? There have to be an equal number of disadvantages when the point arrives, and it has, that supporters begin to drop off and move on, as the only announcements are those of another non-announcement. It is not a smear to Palin to ask these questions. Certainly everyone is asking, even those who say they aren’t. They are. And it is beginning to show that even the stalwarts are asking, beginning to wonder by now, whether they voice it publically or not. No sign, still, even in sight that she will contend. There is no movement, no endorsements, no activity, just deafening silence. It is no crime or wonder why others chose to move on, forget the drama surrounding the guessing, the blatant manufacturing of time tables, winks, nods, genius strategy, psycho jujitsu, etc. It has become a concern, then a yawn, and now laughable. That last one is hard to overcome. Sarah has become a caracature of herself and painfully buffoonery is not now too far off. If she rang the bell tomorrow it would be a circus but the story would be on the internal fight of her supporters and the rest of the party, but it wouldn’t be about her. That’s not good either. Just sayin’.

I said that about John McCain during the primaries last time. But of course I voted for him rather than Obama.

I am hoping we can count on you to vote for the Republican in the general election, regardless of who he/she is.

Anyone considering themselves to be even somewhat conservative has to agree that the best course for America is ABO -- Anyone But Obama.

I think Sarah is running and I have no problem waiting. Every time she steps up to the plate, she amazes us. I have a feeling a few more things need to be in place and then the fun will begin.

This gal saw the millions to be made down here in the lower "forty eight" and a a result of that revelation dumped her job as Governor and came down here to make millions telling decent people what they want to hear. She made her millions. If I am correct in my assessment, then she is really a foul individual.

"Until she declares, I don’t see the need for discussion of the topic."

Really? Then what the hell are you doing here? Take a nice relaxing stroll off this thread that you feel is so unworthy of your participation. I'm pretty sure you're right about that. Buh-bye.

Oh, and in case you hadn't noticed..., you just contradicted yourself.

“The timing today isn’t the timing of yesteryear.”

Bingo. It doesn’t matter what she does now. With a few debates under the belt, she is history. But don’t try to convince these syncopats in here, they will report you!!! LOL!

Don’t hold your breath. Palin will not run because she knows she is the ONLY candidate that couldn’t beat ZERO.

Weren't you discussing Rick Perry's candidacy before his declaration last month? (I believe that you were!)
