Many supporters of Gov. Perry have come to his defense over this Gardasil matter. The arguments are: (1) Gardasil should have been mandatory with the "opt-out" provision; (2) No big deal because the Texas legislature killed the Executive Order; or (3) as Perry says today, he made a mistake, should have made it "opt-in." Now comes word that Perry's top donor was the Republican Governors Association and that Merck began donating to RGA when Perry became its head.
See my tagline.
Dead horse, man. Dead horse.
“Dead horse” or sweep it under the rug?
How about doctors and patents decide what’s best for their own health instead of government.
I am so sick of this issue. We have so many important things to consider, and people keep beating and beating and beating this dead, dead horse. How many times do people have to bring this up?
It was interesting that Perry campaigned in Virgina, the only state that passed mandatory Gardasil.
It ain’t going away. So, if you are pro-Perry, which is it? Was he right then or now?
And how about those Merck donor bucks channeled through the RGA? $250,000
Thanks mike. He was selected (and Romney) by the Bilderbergers. They obviously liked their “style” of governing else he/they wouldn’t be in the race. Romney gave them romneycare. What will Perry give them?
VANITY THREADS: Wrong then, wrong now.
I don’t care one way or the other.
If he gets the nod vs. Obama, he’ll be getting my vote.
If Sarah gets the nod, she’ll get my vote.
Same for Mitt.
Guardisil doesn’t mean a hill of beans to me in light of my country being taken over by democrat commies.
Don’t feed the trolls.
Well, that’s unkind but not unexpected from a Perrywinkle. You sound worse than the comments made at Huffington Post.
Unlike the democrats, the GOP vets its candidates. If you can’t stand the exam now you would not be ready for the media and Obama rectal exam.
Wel then I guess you want Romney, who mandated ALL of healthcare.
Wrong. Romney would be the second to the last I’d vote for right ahead of Obama.
Is that how we vet our candidates, by insinuating an alternative motive? By given false choices?
Unless the medicine has been proven to be scientifically valid and save lives. Then, why would anyone object?
Put yourself in the Governor’s office, hypothetically.
Would you be willing to let a large segment of the population—young girls—be subjected to the risks of this vaccine? Just to feed some of the local crony capitalism?
Don’t you think a normal person would say not just no, but hell no? What does it say about his character?
I’m predicting that you are a future zot. Not for your opinion, but for your obnoxious manner of badmouthing candidates you don’t support.
Channeled? To whom?
Are you calling the RGA corrupt?
You have proof or just innuendo?
You’ve gone and upset the Captain Gardasil groupies.
