The U.N. peacekeeping mission was supposed to end in Sudan on September 1st. I can't find a current article about it so I assume it was extended. Obviously since Bashir the Butcher has been on an intensive campaign of slaughtering Christians and minorities lately peace is not about to spontaneously break out.
