[history]
Most American voters think the U.S. political system is broken, and more than half think major political uprisings like those recently seen elsewhere around the world are likely to happen in the United States in the next decade.
These are some of the findings from a Fox News poll released Thursday.

Progressive Liberalism vs. Classical Realism and Conservatism.
The libertarians will have their arses stuck on the middle of the fence. /s =.=

The must have surveyed optimists. About 75% of the people I talk with don't see how we can make it through the 2012 election without the fascist democrat party causing massive civil unrest bordering on Civil War. I wish I knew enough of these optimistic folks to understand the reason they're so sure things are not already on a razors edge.

I was thinking more like 2012 the way the libdems
are egging their base on. Especially if they lose.

I’m amazed we are so docile now. Maybe it is the new drugs like SSRIs and Xanax and stuff. In the 1960’s and 1970’s there was a lot of political upheaval and many assassinations but all they had was weed, speed and booze.
To: bgill
Exactly. I’m looking at next summer. The commies aren’t going to let go of the government and the country that easy. It’s going to get ugly.

Please tell me what’s happening right now? Wisconsin, flash mobs, the vast majority of crime committed by dim voters for how long, Congressmen and even the resident implying racism. I think Fox made their definition a little too wide and deep.

Broken and gridlocked??? After the first two years of the Obama administration with Democrats running roughshod over anything in their path? Now, finally, there is at least the House to stop the stampede toward the cliff...and they are saying things are broken and gridlocked? THANK GOD FOR GRIDLOCK if 2008 and 2009 was NOT gridlocked!!!!

I see a massive uprising the day after the elections no
matter what happens. I have reached the point I feel like a trapped animal surrounded by the beaters and am ready to get it over with.
P.S. To the beaters,I have plenty of large caliber teeth.

Well, the poll said it was mostly tea party members, those with a low education, low income and rural.
Do you identify with any of them?

Obama is fomenting unrest. They are saying that to disagree is racist.
He is telling them to mobilize.
