KMJ's own Chris Daniel is stirring the national pot today. On his show last night, Chris interviewed Henry Juszkiewicz, the CEO of the iconic Gibson Guitar Company. The federal government seized wood, guitars and electronic records from Gibson's Nashville warehouses in 2009, and, according to Juszkiewicz, made an unusual request from the American manufacturer. On KMJ airwaves, Juszkiewicz revealed that representatives of the US government told Gibson that their legal issues would disappear if they used Madagascar labor instead of American labor.
OK, give us some names and dates. It should be easy enough to verify the phone calls or meetings. Make these reps explain themselves.
One freeper has suggested there is more to this than meets the eye, that the import documents reflect something other than what is in the import.........I have asked for more information, but haven’t got any.
“impeachable offense”
just throwing that out there
not like we don’t have a long list already
there’s an article in the wsj today about this.
it would seem that the ceo was very involved with the environmentalists and created some animosity with them?
Ho.Ly.Crap. Shaken down by your own government. It is a travesty.
I hope GIbson told the feds to go *&$% themselves.
This story is becoming very bizarre. However it plays out it does not sound good for Obama.
Please tell me he has that on video or in writing~!!!!!!!!
OK. did get an answer. According to another freeper, Gibson received through a circuitous route wood over 6mm thick, marked as wood under 6mm thick that was illegal to export.
But hardly the first time from this administration - the Chrysler bondholders were reportedly threatened, Bank of America reportedly was forced to buy Contrywide Mortgages ... I'm sure there are many more out there and an even greater number that have not seen the light of day.
Pfft... nothing and I mean NOTHING will happen to this POS. He and most of the other criminals in this regime are a protected bunch. The sad part is that the pubbies just stand by like nothing is wrong.
Gotta keep themselves in their cushy do nothing jobs dontchaknow.
Has this poster provided any source for this claim? I have been asking but get ignored.
This is in the top 5 of current events.
How much thicker was the wood? .00000000000001mm?
I would like to see the original source of this information.
What’s in Madagascar?
"Henry Juszkiewicz, CEO of Gibson Guitars, is scheduled to be on The Angel Clark Show Radio Freedom Friday, September 2, 2011 at 7pm ET.
If you have a question youd like to ask, you may email me Sussexcountyangel@live.com or tweet it!"
I don't know this show and I am not recommending it - merely sharing information I found in searching for the WSJ article.
And then another import was marked “finished wood products” like parts for musical instruments, but it was actually wood over 6mm thick.
The Feds are saying it’s a violation of Indian law. India says that Gibson is in compliance. That “one Freeper” thinks it’s his job to police Gibson guitars.
THe Wall Street Journal article you mentioned:
