I live in Florida and have been through several hurricanes. GET OUT NOW! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Hurricane Charlie got me good.

We have known that it would most probably make landfall between Edisto and the Outer Banks, weren’t you told to evacuate? If so you should have already headed inland and south and west. The storms don’t stop on the coast, they extend inland usually north, north east and east. I’m 25 miles from the coast but in a Flash Flood area because of the rivers and marshes.
