I guess "Bush's fault!" isn't selling anymore.
He sounds like a burglar complaining that he can’t pay his bills because the local residents don’t keep enough cash around for him to steal!
........there’s a river in Egypt.........
I actually burst out loud laughing when I heard this on the news this morning.
George Burns used to say that when he was in vaudeville he had go on stage after acts so bad, people were still booing them during his performance.
Mr. Obama, the approval rating wasn’t about what people thought of Congress. It was about what people thought of YOU. Believe it or not, you aren’t Congress.
This is hillarious! His strategy is to run as a moderate outsider!
Shades of Jimmah
“I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! IT WASN’T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD! “
Lmao.
Here is the diversity chant for Blacks (community organizers) in power:
He black. Blacks have no power. Blacks can’t be racist or cause problems because they have no power. It’s whitey’s fault.
Git it right, Kristinn, you racsis! :)
I always wonder whatever happened to Baghdad Bob.
LOL! That is funny but I believe that you're right. Obarry wants to create a socialist utopia in the U.S. but that pesky Constitution and Congress keep getting in his way! LOL!
Indeed, my biggest disappointment in both the Legislative and Executive branch is their continued demonstrated ability to understand third grade arithmetic. They just can't count. Or they need to channel Carl Sagan so they can deal with all those zeros in their miscalculations.
OK, let's be specific, Mr. Obama. I don't like AT ALL what the regulatory people in the Executive Branch are doing today. I don't like the trend towards uneven regulation, avalanche-speed regulation, regulation that looks at today and not at the big picture of 10, 25, and 100 years. It's knee-jerk regulation, as ill-conceived as the health care bill that your Speaker of the House said "we need to pass this to find out what's in it." Putting politics ahead of the welfare of the country.
You are the leader of the Democratic Party, as well as the Chief Executive of the United States of America. You have the bully pulpit to both your Party and to the entire country. We as citizens expect our CEO to put everything else aside, and do what's right for everyone. In that, you have failed your obligation, your duty, not to mention violating your Oath of Office. As have a number of people in Congress.
Thank you for making me look up the word "impacted" -- I didn't know that one. Unfortunately, Mr. President, I could only find definitions for the word as an adjective: "driven together; tightly packed." If by this you mean that people are lumping you in with Congress as "part of the problem", has it occurred to you that might be because you are part of the problem? That your policies cause an earthquake throughout the land of business, so the people who create jobs are too busy surviving? Waiting for the "ground" to stop shaking so they can move forward with expansion, growth, and new products and ideas?
Many people on this forum are sure that you won't change, so that your approval rating will vary only a bit in November 2012 from your approval rating now in August 2011. Their analysis is based on the history of your first two years of your Presidency. You may very well find yourself repeating the history of four years ago, during an election where people voted against Bush and not for you, Mr. Obama. How ironic it will be if the shoe ends up on the other foot.
The only "dog" I have in this "hunt" is the fiscal health of These United States. I'm a strict government minimalist politically; I feel that the best Federal government we can have is the least government.
And you're not helping.
The part he doesn’t get is the anger at congress may be for their failure to impeach and impound the Anti-American SOB.
I bet when ever he sees himself in the mirror or on TV he smiles . When he gives speeches he leaves his body to watch people watching him. AH ,it’s good tooo be great
I know! I can’t believe that he is going to try and base his campaign using the anti-DC theme when he is DC! The arrogance still leaves me shaking my head even though it shouldn’t surprise me anymore.
“Our elected representative need to disabuse themselves of the notion they are gods.”
But Americans have already substituted government for god. Now what?
Obama has been studying at the Nancy Pelosi School of Political Reality.
