I don’t understand her objection. Did Morgan not let her talk about her book at all during the course of the interview? Or is she just really, really opposed to talking about gay marriage for whatever reason? Unless there’s an agreement before the show that certain topics are off-limits, the host is usually free to ask anything he/she wants. Palin just did an hour of questions with reporters last week at the Iowa state fair and didn’t rule any subject out of bounds, even though she’s not running for anything right now either. Very strange.

CNN, as you might expect, is milking it for all it’s worth.

When I think of some of the morons in the House and Senate on both sides, Christine looked sane and just as qualified. Heck, look at Obama - the affirmative action totally unqualified dufus, and McCain couldn’t beat him. Says a lot for McCain. Christine had to battle the GOP, the media, and the Socialist. I don’t think the most qualified among us could win that battle. Even the talking heads on Fox (Krauthammer, Rove, Kristol) were all ripping her.

I remember Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment - “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” A lot of people on FR forget that.

Here’s why I think it was good for her to walk off: CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, NYT, etc are wings of the Dem party and the WH.

If that was her reasoning, why did she walk on in the first place? It wasn't some kind of court-ordered appearance she was making, she was plugging her book. If she can't debate the merits of the content of her book, she should either stop walking into these situations or she should quit writing.

For me, this isn't just about her--this is about anyone who walks away from debate rather than argue the merits of their beliefs. WEAK. It's perfectly acceptable to walk away from someone being extremely offensive, vulgar, but Morgan was just being his usual smarmy self.
