Why is Moscow-funded RT supporting Ron Paul?
USA Survival News ^ | unknown | unknown

Posted on 08/15/2011 8:10:50 PM PDT by WhistlingPastTheGraveyard

SEE IT HERE: Adam Kokesh, admitted Russian agent and Russian Television employee, is contributing money to Ron Paul’s 2012 Presidential Campaign and using his TV show on Russia Today to raise money for Paul. This is from his June 6, 2011, broadcast. “We raised over $1 million for the Ron Paul campaign,” he says. “…I urge you to support none other than Congressman Ron Paul.”

NOTE: Kokesh’s employer, Russia Today television, is registered as a foreign corporation in the U.S. Foreign corporations are prohibited from “contributing, donating or spending funds in connection with any federal, state, or local election in the United States, either directly or indirectly.”

What is the law?

The Prohibition

The Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) prohibits any foreign national from contributing, donating or spending funds in connection with any federal, state, or local election in the United States, either directly or indirectly. It is also unlawful to help foreign nationals violate that ban or to solicit, receive or accept contributions or donations from them. Persons who knowingly and willfully engage in these activities may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment.

Who is a Foreign National?

The following groups and individuals are considered "foreign nationals" and are, therefore, subject to the prohibition:

Foreign governments;
Foreign political parties;
Foreign corporations;
Foreign associations;
Foreign partnerships;
Individuals with foreign citizenship; and
Immigrants who do not have a "green card."

Why are they supporting him? Probably because he favors returning US military personnel from bases on foreign soil, giving old enemies free reign around the globe.

Russia would like to see Obama re-elected via a 3rd party run. Obama is easy to push around and doesn’t care a whit about th US economy or security.

Why?

Because Mr. Paul is a right-wing Leftist. And a Leftist by any other name is still a Leftist.

Ron Paul is the ONLY republican candidate going for the source of Americas problems..
The propaganda is legendary against Ron Paul..
so much he probably cannot be elected..

Many cannot imagine America with NO federal reserve..
So I am going for the next best substitute for Ron Paul..
Michele Bachmann.. even Newt will not murder the federal reserve.. nor will Bachmann..

BUT she annoys some of the same people Ron Paul does..

Ayn Rand was a Russian. Maybe he’s just a distant relative and wants someone with Randian views in the White House?

Yeah! The Russkies could finally get their hands back on Afghanistan!

It worked so well for them the first time.

It’s not propaganda - it is fact. Boilerplate, nonresponses to the facts doesn’t change the facts. What you said is not responsive.

The fact is Paul is openly a strong ally of Adam Kokesh, famous for many things, including supporting shoe-throwing attacks on President Bush, passing out racist flyers on a college campus and falsely attributing them to a conservative student organization, going overseas to military base and urging troops to desert their posts, speaking at 9/11 truth rallies, disrupting the 2008 Republican National Convention, etc.

[ famous for many things, including supporting shoe-throwing attacks on President Bush ]

I hated to have to vote for Bush also...
Bush or Gore, Bush or Kerry.. forces strange choices..

McLaim or Obama... same deal... its getting OLLLLD..
Perry /Romney are the NEW Juan McLaim..

Its time a “REAL” conservative was elected..
One that will KILL most of the federal government..
Not all of it but most of it..

Ron Paul seems to ONLY one capable of doing that..
A republican Congress would limit his ability in any case... as would a democrat Senate..
Paul is the only willing to do it.. I believe..
Newt talks a good game BUT would cave with the federal reserve..

Giving all my choices.. Michele Bachmann seems to be the best bet..
I like Ron Paul but will go with Bachmann and maybe Newt as Veep..

But Paul is just crazy enough to change Washington D.C. for good..
If it was possible.. Americans are too brain washed into socialism for that..

You are exactly, dead on, correct. Isolationist foreign policy gives Russia free reign to reconstruct the Soviet Union and gives China the opportunity to build their Chinese Empire. Simple enough.

Paul supporters whine he’s not getting enough coverage in the media.

So far today, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, CNN, Politico and the Associated Press have all run stories or segments about the Great Media Blackout of Ron Paul.

Which is weird, because usually when there's a media blackout of something, you don't see five MSM stories about it in one day. Must be a new kind of blackout.

Cindy Sheehan endorses Ron Paul over Barack Obama

http://wigdersonlibrarypub.blogspot.com/2008/05/cindy-sheehan-endorses-ron-paul-over.html

and earlier:

Sheehan: “I don’t want to even discuss who is likely to be the Republican nominee, because besides having little foreign policy difference between any of them and Hillary, anyone of them would be a complete disaster on matters of war and peace, with the possible exception of Ron Paul (Tx).”
