Mark to read tomorrow.
Once you get on that train it is very hard to get off.
I wish we had a mandatory two year national service for all citizens where they would attend boot camp to fix their minds and bodies in preparation for adulthood. They could then spend the rest of their tour doing things to improve our country.
Interesting but.............what do we do about it ....here in the U.S.? We can study the why’s all we want but people want an end to it. The world will always have the poor, that is a given. Being poor is one thing, tearing our country apart and being afraid to walk the the streets of our country is another. It’s got to end and soon. So, I ask Thomas, what is the answer?
There’s much to be said for that, especially with many of todays youths growing up with an entitlement mentality.
Back in the ‘60s I had a friend who owned a liquor store on 7th Street in NW, Washington DC. He was also an avid hunter whose home was filled with what the taxidermists left of the wildlife he’d hunted, mostly in the Pacific NW.
When the 1968 riots erupted following the assassination of MLK, he took one of his favorite toys down to his liquor store where he hung out behind the counter all weekend as DC burned. His was one of the few business establishments along that corridor that was untouched.
What really made me think was a man’s commentary this weekend that there are generations that have never worked a day in their lives. THAT was shocking.
He said that the Soialist State in GB has ruined the British Nation and people. As well as multiculturalism destroying the values and morals of Britain.
We all have passed the rubicon, it is not going to be easy ro repair the damage. And yes we are going to experience violence. The Dummies and their fellow travelers have no problem destroying and injuring people to get their welfare state fulfilled.
The criinal activity in UK was really about people who have been on the public dole all their lives, not worked, and find that the gov checks don’t buy the luxuries they seem to think they are entitled to.
Maybe someone should tell them that you have to work to get that stuff.
“Life at the Bottom” by Theodore Dalrymple
Scary, and coming here faster and faster.
Good for him. You do what you have to do and sadly fewer and fewer people are willing to do it.
In the LA riots in the aftermath of the Rodney King thing the Korean business people came together to protect their interests.
If it’s mandatory, it’s worthless. You can’t force mouf-breaving animals to be civilized.
...Have to check that out...
Thanks for the pings jaz.
i’m everywhere, like a fungus.

Well, first off, we should begin to call it what it is. Sowell is doing this.
As for us, as individuals, if confronted, we should realize that some of these “youths” have a lead deficiency in their diets. A personally administered injection may convince the group to cease their activities.
What was it? What was left over? Interesting story, but want a few more details...
What do you think 9/17/11’s ‘Day of Rage’ will look like?
On their site, many from the ‘arab spring’ post comments encouraging civil disobedience.
