Palin resigned to run for President, it was obvious to some of us then and that will be the answer to the question when she is officially running. So she resigned to seek a higher office. The Libturds will rue the day when the resignation decision was even easier with all the frivolous lawsuits. If it hadnt been for the lawsuits, she may have resigned at a different time, maybe early 2011, but there simply isnt a way to run from President as Alaska governor.
