Sarah Palins seemingly surprise appearance at the Iowa State Fair this week drew some questions from the press about whether or not she was trying to steal the media spotlight from other GOP candidates. Tonight she appeared via live feed to Fox News host Sean Hannity to discuss the GOP debate last night, which included her praise of Newt Gingrich for taking on the media(Fox Newss Chris Wallace) and drew cheers from the crowd when she proclaimed I AM still considering a run for president.
Hannity simpply asked the former Governor of Alaska are you considering a run for the presidency of the United States? Palin replied I am still considering a run, Sean, adding I think the good folks near iowa, you can ask be in here and I think they would tell you, it is time this country is put back on the right track. She then went on to make many of the predictable talking points to the adoring crowd surrounding her. Watch below, courtesy of Fox News:

You’re all too full of yourself”
That’s a personal attack, isn’t it?
Most of the other candidates were there today as well...I saw and listened to four of them inc. Michelle Bachmann & Newt. The others were given a "soapbox" setting to speak right in the center of the grand concourse. None of them had the crowds at their scheduled events that Gov. Palin attracted as she just wandered around the grounds.
I felt rather bad for her actually. I mentioned on another thread that after I snapped this photo, I had to go to the other side of the fairgrounds; when I returned over an hour later, she had only managed to make it about 30 yards down the road..LOL! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
You’ve always got Mitt Romney, don’t you? Isn’t that who you really support anyway?
From what I hear in my own corner of the world, you are not alone.
Kind of refreshing to want to support someone for who they are versus fear of who the opponent is.
If and when she does or says something that I find objectionable, I have/shall post about my precieved wrongness of same.
If she doesn't run, I shall, indeed, be posting negatively about her.
I don't see her as a "saint" or anything like that, nor have I posted in such a way that one could claim that that is so.
You're scrapping the bottom of the barrel, with all of your impugnations and slurs; not to mention trite anti-Palin crapola from 3 years ago!
Ron Paul has a ton of fans and high negatives too.
I sure wish people on here would stop with the ‘big crowd’ thing and look at what’s going on in the big picture.
I’ll say again, if she’s going to go out this last weekend and NOT announce soon, that’s abusive. She’s messing with you guys and you don’t know it. But you love her, so whatever she does is golden.
I’m pretty ticked that she’s gone this entire season and keeps acting like a girl between boyfriends. But hey, that’s how I see it.
OTOH, how about I list all of your personal attacks? You want that? I'm game. :-)
If and when she’s ever done anything wrong? Don’t you see how that talk is putting her at Saint level?
Have you ever criticized anything she’s ever done, I ask to please say something. And don’t make it one of those ‘she wasn’t hard enough on romney’ kinda weak answers.
You are apparently an expert on her and you’ve never heard one single thing you can say is negative?
I knew that that's what would happen! LOL
People are yearning for her to throw her hat into the ring. When that happens, the other candidates will be burnt toast crumbs.
Love the hippie shirt. If hussein wore that, lol.
Your posts are just weird.
Her shirt’s pretty weird in that pic.
Not quite sure how that one helps her case.
I think the text says ‘I am peace’ with a lot of hearts around it.
If my post is weird, can you please translate what her shirt was saying in a non-weird way?
Why do you care. If she runs, she runs. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t. It isn’t your call.
Why do you care. If she runs, she runs. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t. It isn’t your call.
And that would be the one who was mobbed at the fair today. Sarah has "IT".
I think shes playing fine right now. I’d back Palin in a heartbeat.
She's a human being and as one, has faults.
I know that she couldn't have done so, but I do wish that she had gone a bit more ROGUE, during her VEEP run. I'm certain that I haven't agreed with everything she has ever said or written, but no, I can't give you an example, off the top of my head, since it wasn't anything that calamitous. And no, I'm not going to go through all of my old posts to find an example for you.
I'm far from being what one would call a Palin "expert": I just know far more actual facts about her than you do.
Oh........you want an old "negative"? Though I do know that Nicole Wallace set up that Couric interview ( and anyone in the know, in politics, and especially in D.C., knows that Wallace is a nasty piece of work, who was behind a lot of the leaked crapola/lies )and that it was edited to show Palin in THE worst possible light, I found great fault with some of her answers; well, the ones that we did get to hear, after many, many, MANY boring hours of conversation.
Satisfied now?
I'm certain that there are other things, but you don't deserve any more than I just gave you.
Read my above posts that said if she runs I’ll support her. Please.
I’m saying that I think she’s a bad choice now. That’s all, but I supported McCain last time and will her if she wins. Anything against the real socialists.
It’s complicated, but I don’t care much for her anymore or her amazingly loyal fans that make the Ron Paul types look almost sane.
No, all of your posts are weird and neurotic sounding, you sound a little tipsy and lonely.
