And Rightfully so! McCain is one of our wonderful Old-time Republicans that still think that they can change things by their moderate will! (That means that at least all the RINO Republicans and him will change things).
He has become a dinosaur of the Republican Party and does not know it. May all those that now control those party salute him and get on with it...
McCain is a sad figure now. He thinks it is 1978 and the GOP is in permanent minority and he has to pander to the Washington Post and New York Times to get a good mention on page 17.
He needs to retire.
Retire now, Juan!
Retire ???? He will renege when he endorses the ONE !
Absolutely, well said..and so sad that he does not understand that time has passed him by.. Good man, in the wrong time...
That would not surprise me one bit.
Did you mean that like "Bless his little heart"?
ROFLMAO! Hey Juan, meet the Tea Party’s “community organizers!!”
Actually, yes... He is just becoming a leader in the wrong century... Good man, wrong time...
FUJM!!!
You are a traitorous bastard and you had your head reprogrammed in that Kommie Hotel.
Prove I’m wrong.
I thought it meant, “He can go whiz up a rope because I lock my doors at night.

.
Bad student, bad pilot, bad Senator. Somethings never change.
And was not Middle Earth be the brink of destruction because the King of Gondor was more interested in power, wealth and position and could not be bothered to deal with the threat of Sauron’s rapidly increasing power until Sauron was so strong it was no longer with their power resist destruction.
I personally like the Hobbit analogy as allegory for the rise of out of control spending which threatens to destroy us because we refuse to accept that there exits an enemy with growing strength that is on the brink of destroying us.
Like Tolkien’s King Theoden, some old guard Republicans do not wish to risk open war on the Budget to get spending under control before it destroys us, but war is upon them whether they wish to risk it or not.
The the new Republican Hobbits are will to go all the way to Mordor to take the budget fight to the depths of Mt Doom to save the world.
Perhaps Mc Cain is onto something here and we should follow up on the whole Hobbit angle.
At the very least some fun could be had had identifying the current cast of Sauron, Gollom, Saruman and Grimer Wormtonge wanna be characters in our current drama in Mordor on the Potomac.
There sure as heck are not enough Gandaulf, Aragorn or Theodens stepping forward
I would definatly cast John McCain as Gollem(twisted, two-faced, lying little muckster.)
Harry Reid is more like Gollem IMHO. He even looks like Gollem.
Lots and lots and lots of competition for Grimer Wormtonge
McCain, went from POW to TRAITOR in one liftime. He is crap, pure and simple.
