LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- A man who confessed to shooting two soldiers outside a military recruiting station in Arkansas has pleaded guilty and received a sentence of life in prison without parole.
Abdulhakim Muhammad pleaded guilty to capital murder in the middle of his trial Monday. Prosecutors took the death penalty off the table in return for Muhammad's plea.

So we’re going to feed, clothe, provide medical care for, and shelter this scum for the rest of his life!!??
This is what happens when you cannot trust juries.
It never got to the jury.
That is the point. Since juries cannot be trusted to do what is right, prosecutors must avoid them at all costs. So rather than risk a “not guilty” they get a plea bargain for a lesser sentence.
He confessed. There was no bargain.
Oh! That’s just wonderful. Now he can devote the rest of his life teaching the words of Islam to all of the other prisoners so they will be ready for jihad when they leave prison.
Wonderful...just wonderful! </S>
Exactly my thoughts.
Muhammad will be the seed to other prisoners for life.
He’ll become a respected mullah in prison and convert dozens of blacks to the insane murder cult.
Prosecutors who pull such cr@p to short-circuit justice should be required to join the accused in the resulting sentence!
Not for very long....the perp will be placed into the general prison population...and they will mete out justice. It's called the "Dahmer Syndrome". Very effective.
A trial before a jury can still be held even with a confession. The Casey Anthony jury would have probably cut her loose even WITH a confession.
Just checked a few moments ago and the only U.S. network web news media site that had this story was FoxNews
It’s called the “Dahmer Syndrome”.
He said “you better watch out fella, I eat big guys like you for breakfast.”
Those were the last words he ever spoke.
LOL!!!!
Odds are there will be a few ex-Army doods hanging around wherever he ends up. I look forward to his demise.
This is Normay....the world "home" of integration and a free, liberal society. After this individual in put into a nice, homey prison, we'll hear nothing more about him.
Should he happen to "die" while in prison, it will be from "natural causes". That's just the way it is in Norway.
And truth be told, it's none of our business. The "event" happened in Norway. The perp is Norwegian. The victims are Norwegian. The punishment will be meted out by the Norwegian legal and penal system. It really is none of our business.
Personally, I don't give a rat's pa-toot what happens to him. We've enough problems right here at home to worry about and fret over.
Say what?
Sorry about that....was thinking of the other perp in the news!!
Now that I have had my coffee and the other side of my brain has been engaged....I hope your words come true. Usually, prison justice trumps our legal system; or at least simplifies it!
