I think this story is the official end of TPaw’s campaign

Indeed, as well as Huntsman.  Stick a fork in them, they're done before they even get out of the starting gate, sans a massive Leftist CPR effort to keep a Republican in the race who they think will lose to Zero.

Sen. Santorum hasn’t exactly got traction either. Gingrich has embarrassed himself—and one would think he was beyond embarrassing at this point!

Cain will be voted off the island, too, but with respect for having exceeded expectations and having won Mr. Congeniality while he was in.

It’s already down to four people—and two haven’t even officially entered! Once Palin and Perry are in by the end of August the real campaign will start. Romney will be there as expected and Bachmann is the surprise performer with the last ticket to the next round.

Oh, and one more loser—the Ames straw poll, with their tacky real estate rentals and all.

They are completely irrelevant this year. They can’t even bury a candidate, as TPaw has already buried himself. I’ll guess Bachmann for the win, but she was on her way to the next phase anyway. No real harm if the other three, who haven’t officially entered, don’t do well. Poor Ames is even trying to put Palin and Perry on their ballot, just to grasp for a fig leaf of relevance.
