I never debated the rules of FR.

Thanks for acknowledging that there ARE rules, even though violation is not enforced much. I'd like to think FReepers are smart enough to express themselves in standard English.

I agree about decorum and the right time and place for passionate language. I never knew that Patton was kin to Washington... the King of France and England and kin to many members that signed the Magna Carta (1215)... that is some family tree... and he was a GREAT American General. You do not find out about this History many places today... but Free Republic is THE place so...
