His reasoning is simple. He believes 80% of the people will go along with increasing the taxes onthe other 20%.....Marxism 101.

BHO says it, Pravda repeats it, and the sheeple believe it.
What a wonderful world it is for BHO.

In one sense his is right. A substantial portion of the American public is “sold” on tax increases for “the rich” as a magical solution that will avoid them having to live with a middle class tax hike or cuts to middle class entitlements. Of course, as we all know, a 100% tax on “the rich” wouldn’t even solve the problem. This is why the media deserves a lot of blame for this problem too. They uncritically report what the Dems sell so that way too many Americans believe that “the rich” don’t pay their “fair share” of taxes and if they did, the problem woudl be solved.

And of course he nowhere takes any blame for bloating the debt situation...
It’s always somebody else. And I’m for you.
Sad state of affairs when the MSM won’t call him on all his falsehoods.

It takes a lot of crust for this alien Marxist to purport to know what the American people are sold on.

President Obama on Friday kept up the pressure on Republicans to agree to revenue increases in a deal to raise the debt ceiling, claiming 80 percent of the public supports Democrats' demand for tax increases. "The American people are sold," Obama said. Not only are we sold, Bar, we INSIST you increase taxes to 100%!!!! You need to RUN ON THIS PLATFORM in 2012!!!!

WE must all see GE pay tax before we believe Barry means to “tax the rich”
Heck, I’d settle for just not GIVING GE another $3.2 billion in taxpayer subsidies to make jobs in India and China

I believe he thinks everyone making less than $250K supports his tax increases because he tells them it is against everyone else, not them
Remember he was incredulous and then contemptuous that a working stiff like Joe the Plumber would dare to be against income redistribution, and his minions tried like hell to prove Joe was crazy, a hypocrite, or a planted shill
as if all people below $250K are economic illiterates and resentful envious marxist-hugging class warriors to boot

Why didn’t this fool listen to the people when they let him know they didn’t want his health care reform bill passed?

You are right. He simply assumes every middle class person would want to get more benefits on the backs of those earning $250K or more per year. When a middle class person dares to point out that the “rich” making $250K or more per year are likely to be the ones providing jobs for the middle class and thus, we don’t want to tax them to death, he is indignant.
