House Speaker John Boehner has told the White House that he doesn't want to go to Camp David to negotiate on the deficit.
"The Speaker has told the White House he sees no need to go to Camp David this weekend," Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck said in an email.
Agreed. The constant BDS on Free Republic goes way overboard.

Now he should “summon” Obama to a weekend meeting at the Capitol, just to drive the point home.

The Pubbies should end every statement they make to or about Obama with the words “don’t forget to eat your peas.” Obummer’s peas comment has a lot of sticking power and, if referenced often and publicly, will fit very nicely around his neck as a great historical footnote on how he lost the 2012 election.

This has me worried too, milwguy. (And please check your spelling.) Obummer could take all kinds of directions in the current chaos, seeing this as his golden opportunity to destroy the country he hates.
Deliberate default, refusal to send out Social Security and Medicare payments, military shutdown, you name it. He might try to piss off the maximum number of people then forcibly put down the insurrection that would surely follow.
Of course, the punk COULD make the important payments and let the rest of government take an unpaid furlough, but I'm not willing to bet on it.
