Here is the oft-forgotten problem for lawyers in cases where they got generally assumed-to-be-guilty clients off in high profile cases.
The public and juries don't like the results and either (or both) takes it out on lawyers future clients, and/or public and juries assume all of their clients are guilty, and return guilty verdicts.
As a result, they end up with no clients.
