Disagree. They didn’t have anything to work with. I thought leaning on the family was a good idea. I would be shocked if she did it alone.

Then the prosecution should have waited to charge her until better evidence was available. Is there a statute of limitations on murder in Florida?

It is very likely that someone in the district attorney's office saw this case as a chance to make a name for themselves so they rushed it through.

Perhaps so, but you still have to have evidence and present it it in such a way it supports your case.

The prosecution missed doing so and so they lost the case. There was no conclusive evidence as to cause of death and who the killer was.
