Agenda 21 goes well beyond environmentalism. Other broad goals include ....reducing private property ownership, single-family homes, private car ownership, and privately owned farms. It seeks to cram people into small livable areas and institute population control. There is a plan for social justice that will redistribute wealth. Straight up communism. ...the goal of all one-worlders.
Congress never approved Agenda 21, although Presidents Obama, Clinton and George H.W. Bush have all signed Executive Orders implementing it.
Glad to see G.W. Bush didn't make that list.

This has been underway for a long, long time. Here’s a link to the “Sustainability” homepage for my town, Vancouver, WA.
http://www.cityofvancouver.us/sustainability.asp
While I was reading this article, portions of it sounded disturbingly familiar, and it took very little digging to come up with the local version of this nonsense, and it is clear that this has been in the works for years. Nevermind that the City of Vancouver is still facing a $10 Million dollar deficit, and can’t afford to trim the shrubs in the City parks, but they can afford to keep full-time staff and spend unknown amounts of money on this BS.
What’s worse is when I dug down into the data, it is clear that “sustainability” occupies significant time from a whole slew of Public employees who ought not to be wasting their time on this kind of crap. Its very disturbing to discover just how much time and money is already going toward this nonsense...

“Obama committed thousands of federal employees in 25 federal agencies to promote sustainability in rural areas, completely bypassing Congressional approval.”
This seems to be obama’s consistent modus operandi. He is a dick-tator.

Hopefully a President Palin, Bachmann, or Cain would put an end to this insanity. Problem is, A21 is so entrenched in most of our state and local communities that I’m not sure if any President as the power to eradicate it at this point.

Definitely some insidious stuff. Unfortunately a whole lot of related yet unconnected groups are happily playing along. Locally we have the “Raisin Valley land trust”. They’re purely voluntary but aggressive to the point of keeping an eye out for delinquent taxes as a means of pressuring landowners.
http://www.rvlt.org/
They tell a happy story about the small tax break you get for signing on but they don’t mention the fact that you effectively lose control of your own property. My neighbor looked at it for the tax break but fortunately he was trying to sell his house and the realtor warned him off.

13423 before you get too happy.
The U.S. Federal Green Building PolicyOn January 24th, 2007, President George W. Bush signed Executive Order 13,423, Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management.1 The Executive Order requires federal agencies to meet the standards of green buildings, and lead by example in promoting green buildings in the United States.2 The U.S. federal government, however, seems to have been led by examples of the states, industry, and the consumers.

It is neither a threat or conspircy theory. It is a promise and blue print for what the left is going to do to us. Just as
Mien Kampft was Hitler's promise and plan for the Jews in Germany.
Wherthe we allow them to carry it out or not remains yet to be seen. It should serve as a warning to every Conservative, freedom lover, and Christian. Whether we heed the warning or suffer the fate of the Jews remains yet to be decided.
