Strauss-Kahn Case Seen as in Jeopardy
The New York Times ^ | June 30, 2011 |  JIM DWYER, WILLIAM K. RASHBAUM and JOHN ELIGON

Posted on 06/30/2011 8:54:27 PM PDT by Cincinna

The sexual assault case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn is on the verge of collapse as investigators have uncovered major holes in the credibility of the housekeeper who charged that he attacked her in his Manhattan hotel suite in May, according to two well-placed law enforcement officials.

Although forensic tests found unambiguous evidence of a sexual encounter between Mr. Strauss-Kahn, a French politician, and the woman, prosecutors do not believe much of what the accuser has told them about the circumstances or about herself.

Since her initial allegation on May 14, the accuser has repeatedly lied, one of the law enforcement officials said.

Senior prosecutors met with lawyers for Mr. Strauss-Kahn on Thursday and provided details about their findings, and the parties are discussing whether to dismiss the felony charges. Among the discoveries, one of the officials said, are issues involving the asylum application of the 32-year-old housekeeper, who is Guinean, and possible links to criminal activities, including drug dealing and money laundering.

Prosecutors and defense lawyers will return to State Supreme Court in Manhattan on Friday morning, when Justice Michael J. Obus is expected to consider easing the extraordinary bail conditions that he imposed on Mr. Strauss-Kahn in the days after he was charged. "snip" "It is a mess, a mess on both sides,” one official said.

According to the two officials, the woman had a phone conversation with an incarcerated man within a day of her encounter with Mr. Strauss-Kahn in which she discussed the possible benefits of pursuing the charges against him. The conversation was recorded.

Who lied? First, le Scuz Bucket claimed nothing happened. Then he said, if anything happened, it was consensual.

Of course, this is from The New York Times, “The newspaper of rancid.”

It doesn’t matter now if he raped her or not. His lawyers will tear her and the case to shreds and the DA knows it.

WOW! The French Blogs are again abuzz with conspiracy theories.
The hearing is tomorrow morning, and more evidence discovered by the Prosecution will be turned over to the Defense.
The main conspiracy theory has always involved a plot by Sarko to destroy his potential opponent, DSK.
With all the money laundering seemingly involved, one might look more to an international finance, NWO plot.
Very disturbing developments. I still believe the rape incident took place, but the victim’s credibility has certainly been put in question, compromising the case .
Putting on my tin-foil hat for a moment, I’m wondering about the DA, Cyrus Vance, Jr, and his connections to international finance and NWO.

I always wondered how a short, fat, naked 62 year-old frenchman could physically “force” a 32 year-old manual laborer to do some of the things claimed.

Jeopardy?

I’ll take French, IMF one world government advocating perverts with diplomatic immunity for $1,000, Alec.

Apparently the “skeptical” authorities are in no hurry to drop anything. Nothing is scheduled for a couple of weeks.

My favorite, from memory, is “she’s only a maid, it’s not like she’s a person of any importance.”

Isn’t it funny how those socialist, people of the masses tend to treat certain segments of society as inferior? So much for the heroes of the masses.

At this point, I think I’ll go with the rumor he was about to blow the whistle that there is no gold left in Ft. Knox. By the way, where is the $6Billion in cash that has gone missing in Iraq?

Reminds me how Carvelle tried to discredit Paula - drag a dollar through a trailer park, something like that. So much for her hospital tests and the cops said she was very credible at that part. They had enough time to buy off, change stories, etc. Nothing new under the sun.

I agree. He may have raped her but she seems like a slimy character, perhaps a scheming immigrant with criminal intent. The article mentioned that she had received large deposits from different sources and had many different cell phones. She seems like a good candidate for Obama’s defacto amnesty. With any justice, she would be promptly deported. Our dear leader will probably appoint her to his cabinent.

That alone left me shaken; it is possible that this has been one huge fraud and if they did have other encounters before, it does make me wonder. While assaults do happen by people that the victim knows, I am quite sure that if they knew each other before, it wasn’t through any family reunion or having a legitimate, open relationship. I mean, if you’re assaulted, what is there to discuss other than going for the throat.

Right after the accusation, there were endless demonstrations against rape and evil white men and maids marched en masse right after the charges were filed and announced. If it turns out that it was a setup and she was a mistress of his and the encounter was consensual, then there will be a massive backlash. So I hope. This is a rabid feminist dream come true and it will be a nightmare for feminists if it turns out to be untrue.

That actually makes it less likely she'd want to attract attention by raising a false ruckus,
