Googled it in about 2 seconds. Anti-Italian immigration. The point is, I think we do a huge disservice to the memory of our immigrant families. There was massive anti-immigration sentiment at many times in the US particularly when the immigrants were non-Anglo. The fact is, all the feelings that “white” Americans have today were held by “English” Americans in the past 2 centuries. There were non-English immigrants that were destroying the country, taking the jobs, and not speaking English.

Ping!

A bit different, since it lumps legal and illegal immigrants together...

I give this precise concept a thought about every other day.

I would like to some highly visible person propose just such a thing, so the Leftists could complain, and we could say, exactly right, but you don’t see it when you propose we be the ones replaced do you.

This really does need to be addressed. I also urge people who don’t like the idea of being replaced, to start having huge families. It’s time for Northern Europe and U.S. Citizens to start have big families again.

Actually, it’s time to lump the two together. They are two methods being used to change the makeup of this nation.

I consider it to be much more sinister than that too.

There is a full court press to eliminate the Caucasian influence on planet earth, specifically the United States and Northern Europe.

Has anyone seen it be advocated that Mexico become more diverse? Has anyone seen it be proposed that South Africa become more diverse? Has anyone seen it proposed that China, Russia, or a myriad of other nation, be made more diverse?

The United States and Northern Europe are the only places where diversity is championed non-stop.

When the Irish and the Italians came here we imported severe poverty. Now they make up a large chunk of the middle class.

You ever wondered what drove America left, what overcame the still conservative voting stock of the original America, who still votes as they did 200 years ago?

They were left wing voting Catholics, that were destroying our nation.

Do you know where all this modern third world immigration came from, how it was imposed on us, and by whom, and why?

Not all immigrants are like that. My grandmother's family got out of Russia by the skin of their teeth, but many of their relatives and friends were not so fortunate back in Russia.

The Volga Germans have seen what socialism does to a society and many are deeply conservative as a result. Just look at the areas where they settled; Iowa, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

I’m a Texan, we also have a lot of Germans, Germans are, or were, our biggest ethnic group.

I used to say that partly, Americans were great because we had German blood (not me personally) and English culture and influence. The combination overcame the weaknesses of both types and complimented each other.

When my grandmother's family fled the violence in Russia (1912) they came into the US through Galveston. My great-grandfather's brother had already immigrated to the US a few years earlier and had settled in Colorado.

My great-grandfather got everyone through immigration and then headed over to the train station. He then used his entire knowledge of the English language "Denver, please."

The ticket agent counted heads, took his money, gave him his tickets and change, and got them onto the train for Denver.

As an interesting aside, one of my great-grandfathers on my mom's side was a conductor on the Galveston-Houston Inner-Urban Electric Railroad, so it is quite possible that they might have met.

Once they got up to Colorado, and later Wyoming, my great-grandfather refused to allow anyone to speak German or Russian. He said that they were in America and they were going to speak English. I think this is a major part of our troubles today. Back in the 1800's and early 1900's, immigrants tried very hard to become a part of American society; learning English, adopting Anglican names, etc. Now many immigrant groups stick together, refusing to learn English, and keeping themselves apart from the rest of the community.

That is, Germans were or are the biggest ethnic group in the United States.

what overcame the still conservative voting stock of the original America

Wow! Just wow! I could probably write a book in response but what is the point.

There is no such thing as original America. It was an amalgamation of ideas from very juxtaposed traditions such as William Penn and John Winthrop. You may point to the founding as the baseline. But I don't know of many people who would call Jefferson and Franklin conservatives, even if their ideas may be "conservative" by today's standards.

The fact is literally millions of immigrants fought in our military for your freedom to piss on their memory. Maybe you could go out alone in the woods and found your own country. Then all of its citizens will be just like you.
