There are NO perfect candidates EVER. And if I agree with one on every issue all the time, I’m going to assume a candidate is lying to me or I’m lying to myself.

Reagan did things I didn’t like, Palin has done things I didn’t like, Bachmann has done things I didn’t like, and my congressman has done things I dislike. Its a simple fact of life.

Yesterday Jerrold Nadler said that the president is becoming an absolute monarch. Am I supposed to disagree with him because he’s a democrat?

There are a few vocal Freepers who don't seem to get this.

What they want is a candidate whose message preaches precisely to our (rather small) choir, telling us every single thing we want to hear and not one single thing we don't.

That's not what I want.
