I can sum up the fatal flaw of Obama’s presidency with a simple analogy:

You’ve all heard that the way you boil a frog alive is to put him in cold water and turn up the heat so slowly that the frog never jumps out until it is too late.

Well, capitalism and conservatism has been slowly cooked this way for over 50 years to the point it was “almost” fatal. Obama made the huge mistake of grabbing the temperature knob and cranking it to full heat.

The frog noticed and is jumping out of the water.

An as the article states, we truly are living in historic times. I fear they are about to become much more “historic”.

After doing a little investigating, the author could have quickly discerned that the Tea Party minded middle Americans really have little in common with Perry and certainly did not "give rise" to him. Palin, Bachmann, and Cain on the other hand, are genuine Tea Party candidates.

If only Perry had better aim on a number of issues and didn't have the poor judgement to run Gore's TX campaign.

I agree, I didn't like the cheap shot at Palin either. It's grown monotonous. But he didn't dwell on it or I wouldn't have posted the piece.

What I like was the way he attacked liberalism and it's institutions. He pulled no punches and capped off the commentary with what I think is a very catchy statement that we and our fellow conservatives can take to heart.

"Liberalism is in crisis. And as the regime cracks, insurgent populists are starting to fill the void. Middle America is on the march."

I have only one word to say about Ron Paul.

Stormfront.

That alone makes him more than suspect.

I think a Perry/Bachmann ticket would win and do America a whole hell of a lot of good. 8 years of Perry, renewing jobs and cutting spending, and then set the stage for a Bachmann administration.

Sweet.

I'd say more than 'suspect.' I'd say frightening.

American Thinker

Makes me wonder why Paul supporters are even permitted to post on a conservative forum, let alone spam every thread with their divisive anti-conservative propaganda.

Barney Frank and Ron Paul team up to legalize marijuana

The bill is co-sponsored by Democratic Reps. John Conyers of Michigan, Steve Cohen of Tennessee, Jared Polis of Colorado and Barbara Lee of California.

Holy crap.

I repeat.........why are supporters of this lunatic permitted to post on this forum disguised as conservatives?

Barney Frank and Ron Paul........birds of a feather??

These Paultards are lunatics, just like Paul himself. They truly are an insignificant and irrelevent herd of twits. I think over time they tend to forget their passwords or wander off into the woods or weeds if Jim and the mods don’t zot them first.

Yeah.....they're insignificant, irrelevant twits, but so are gnats.

They are the singularly most annoying and tedious pests I've encountered since I joined the forum 11 years ago.

And they pretend that THEY are the conservatives.

It's a joke. THEY are a joke.

I completely agree, but I would never tell them that, it would only encourage them! LOL!

HA! Point well taken.

Their mission in life is to be annoying and divisive.

.

They succeed.

Have you ever noticed how many Paul lackeys behave like punks?

And have you considered how that is exactly the way Obama behaves?

I truly wonder if Paulites aren't lefties in disguise. Of course, with Paul teaming up with Bawney, it's not much of a disguise any more, now is it?
