In recent times, however, it has taken on an all new meaning and purpose. In Educating for the New World Order by B. Eakman, the reader finds reference upon reference for the need to preserve the illusion that there is "…lay, or community, participation (in the decision-making process), while lay citizens were, in fact, being squeezed out." The Delphi Technique is the method being used to squeeze citizens out of the process, effecting a left-wing take over of the schools.

It is simply framing the problem in such a way that the conclusions most people will draw are predetermined. This gives the illusion of a grass roots solution and support.
The technique takes the process a few steps further and puts overseers (who may or may not know they are tools) with special training on facilitating the process so that the outcome avoids the influence of any mavericks (like a freeper) might have that would spoil the process.

This Alinsky Delphi technique is used by ‘social justice’ groups such as Interfaith groups that are in the Alinsky-created Insutrial Area Foundation.
The catholic church via the CCHD funds these groups.

The effects of the brain altering vapors,Ruins were ultimately attributed to a divine source. Other people began inhaling the vapors so that they could prophesy. But the gas was so disorienting some fell into the cavern and were lost. So a tripod was built and an individual was appointed to sit over the chasm and prophesy. A booming industry grew up around the Oracle. Temples were built and rebuilt, priests were trained, rituals evolved and sacrifices were performed. Priests interpreted the incoherent utterances of the Pythia. Presents were brought to both placate the deity and in the hope of influencing a positive prophesy. The Delphic temple itself became one of the largest “banks” in the world. Delphi became a center for banking and commerce.

The “take-over” was complete the day the first government schools opened in the mid-1800s to early 1900s!
Since their inception government K-12 schools have **always** been left-wing! They were the wet dream of the progressives of the 19th century. The progressives have **always** controlled teacher training and textbook curriculum.
The government schools have **always** been socialist-funded, compulsory, and managed by the voting mob collective. That means they have **always** been left wing.
The progressives have **always** been pushing the godlessly secular envelop. At first they offered up a generic and lukewarm Protestantism. ( We know what Christ does with the lukewarm. He spits them out of His mouth!) The progressive left wing has **always** been pushing for more and more secularism. By my grandmother's day ( born 1894) her schools were godlessly secular with a sprinkle of prayer in the morning and a nod to Christianity on a holiday or two. By the end of the 1960’s the progressive government schools were utterly godless.
