I don’t agree. I don’t think she’d see herself as a “cheerleader” for others. She could make or break somebody, frankly.
But I think she wants to stir up people’s courage and enthusiasm with this tour, but not necessarily to run herself. Unless we get courage and enthusiasm and hope back, we’re not going to win in 2012.
And I think she wants us to win, but if she doesn’t want to be the candidate, she wants to have a lot of say in picking him or her. Which she should have. But the only way to get around the GOP establishment, which has already nominated the unelectable Romney, is to build her base and work outside of the “system.”
Fair enough, but you’re going to lose a Weiner! LOL Seriously, I think that with the excitement that she has engendered among her partisans, were she to decline to run now, her influence would never again be more than a fraction of what it is.
